Over the weekend, I tried a recipe for sprinkle cookies found over at Mimi's Kitchen.
The dough was so easy to put together, so easy to work with and the results were so very tasty. In fact, I made two batches and as of today, there's not a crumb left.
Our pretty pink skies of this morning ...
turned completely to gray by the time we left school this afternoon. Gray and dreary, cold and windy.
It's the perfect time to join Kimmie at Art in Red Wagons for a cup of Twinings Organic African Honeybush & Lemon tea and a sprinkle cookie.
Sending warm wishes your way for a wonderful day!

Sounds wonderful and the cookie is so pretty too. It goes with the sky colors. Happy tea day.
I smiled a little when you say it´s cold! :o ;)
You should be here in Sweden now. It has been about -43 degrees C in the north and -21 degrees C in the southern parts of our country.
But I understand you at the same time. My hubbys brother lives in Thailand and HongKong and he said it´s so cold when the temperature was "only + 25 degrees C" and keeps his warm knitted pullover on when he is in Sweden in the summer... You get used to the hot weather after a couple of years. :)
The tea sounds interesting. Did you try Lapsang Souchong? I love it.
Send you warm greetings back from NorTH pOLE! ;D
The cookies look wonderful ! ! I love the colored sugars....
Beautiful weather here yesterday. It was in the 50's & gave me a bit of Spring Fever!!
Have a Peaceful Day!

They say Red Skies at Morning - Sailors Take Warning ... I guess your pink skies were boding a change in the weather! Your cookies look so sweet - literally! and figuratively too! ... my teapot cookies needed sprinkles - they just add that little extra something :)
I think your cookies should be called "Pink Sky Cookies". I can see why they don't last!
:)
Sounds like your family loved these and I can see why. I sit here and sip a cup of Rose Hip Tea wishing for one of your rose colored cookies. :-)
You have a wonderful day too Tammy!
Oh Tammy,
Did you save one of those cookies for me? :-) They do look delish. And the pictures of your pink sky are absolutely beautiful. Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful day.
Hugs and Kisses,
♥Ana
something I really miss is making loads of cakes and biscuits, when the kids were all at home I used to make huge amounts.
There is only me and Mr.T now and as we are not as active as we used to be we cannot gorge like we used to. lol

Mmm, those cookies look good, Tammy. And I like 'easy' :) I'll have to go check out the recipe. What is "cold" over there? ;) I think we warmer climes folks tend to really appreciate our few chilly days celebrate them. But, I am always glad to see that sun again. Take care~
Very pretty cookies Tammy. They look yummy, delicious and easy(that's the best part!)Hope you're having a great day. Diane
Hi Tammy...Loved your sunrise photos. Cookies looked good, too.

Oh my six year old would love these...now that tea sounds comforting! What a pretty sky..how creative is our God?!!
Oh I had to come back and comment...my son and I just finished "How to Bake an Apple Pie and see the world"...He learned where Sri Lanka is because that is where they got the cinnamon from for the pie..I am showing him your pictures
I had to stop by, even though I've been out all day. Your afternoon sky looked a lot like my all day sky. I enjoyed stopping by for tea and a cookie, though.
cookies & tea sound like a great way to spend a gray day..the skies are lovely when they're all pink and pretty :-)
Those cookies look delish! Very pretty!
