Time to Catch Up

I'm so happy it is the weekend in my little corner of the world.  Although I enjoyed spending time with friends after school on Monday and Tuesday, it kinda put me off schedule for the rest of the week, so now I need to play catch up.
Whenever I get behind, I get blah.  And when I get blah, my creative mojo takes a hike.  One of those vicious cycles we all deal with.  Hopefully I can do some cleaning and crafting over the weekend to get back on track.
Hope all is well where you are!
And that you are having a productive, creative day!  Or at least a restful one!

Hi Tammy....

Every time I hear that music in the background when I click on to your posts, it makes me want to get up and dance! With castenets in each hand! Yeah!

So glad for you that your weekend has begun! Happy for Jingles, too. He looks VERY content! Susan

Hi,
Happy weekend to you.

I have a little bit of news... I've been quite happy not writing and just keeping up on facebook with all of our family and friends there, but.... I'm contemplating starting a new blog. I wasn't going to do this, but when one of my daughter's best friends blurted out at dinner last night that she loved reading my blog and it made her sad that I stopped - it made me stop and think, and then when daughter said the same thing - well - I can't let these young girls down. It made me stop and realize the people who I really started this for in the first place!

So.... I have to think on what I'll be doing. Not sure yet - but it will definitely be on a different page, and I'm not going to enable comments, because that was part of the issue for me, as enjoyable as it was sometimes, it also hurt my feelings when not many took the time to comment. Felt like I was doing a whole lot of work for nothing.

So... if I make up something new, I'll let you know. Even though no comments will be allowed, there's always email to connect.

My mojo is sort of gone and I can't even say why. We should all be more like your precious Jingles...relaxed and blissful. Enjoy your catching up and just let it flow...forcing it never works. Blissful Creating Dear...

I am in the same slump, just way too much to get done this week with family and work. I am going to sit down with my crochet hook this evening and tomorrow I am determined to take another shawl off my loom. I am busy at a workshop all weekend so that will definitely impinge on my creative time. By the way I could listen to the music on your blog all day.
Hugs to you,
Meredith

I'm the same way T. But lately I've been busy and will have to catch up on other things when I get back from a weekend trip. I try not to sweat it. Just go with the flow.

I know what you mean. I have been doing a lot of TV watching (Downton Abbey, Random Passage) and I find it saps the creativity out of me. So for the weekend, it is do, not watch! Kit

I can totally relate to that feeling of blah when you get behind. I try and try to remind myself that taking time for those relationships is way more important than all the things I need to get done... still throws me in a 'blah' feeling overwhelmed with the work I still need to get done sometimes. Hope you get caught up smoothly and quickly so you can have your mojo back!! {hugs} tanna

Hi Tammy! :)
First I want to thank you fdor your beautiful card from Kuwait. :)
A great surprise! And I love the little heart you made for me. I will hang it on my hobbyroom´s desklamp (?!) Strange word. I think you know what I mean.

Time is flying too fast and I feel very behind as well so I really understand what you mean. I have so much catching up to do! It really is blah! I have to try to force myself to do some cleaning up this weekend. At least it feels great when it´s done.
Have a great weekend my blogfriend!
Blessings!

I fully understand you Tammy, its silly but I can't settle to do anything if I know the place is a mess, could get a lot more done in the craft room if I could ignore things...

I am of the opinion that when we are 'blah' we post cat photos. What's with that? Is it that they look like we feel... at least they look like we wish we could respond... :)

Blessings, Debbie

Tammy, I know exactly what you mean about feeling blah when you fall behind. My creative mojo seems to have taken an extended hike of late. I sure hope it returns soon.

Lovely photos!
