Lots of great craft books have come my way of late. Last week while craft shopping with Mona, the cover of this book caught my eye so it came home with me.
Lots of great projects and ideas.
And while getting hubby's book yesterday, I picked up a cross-stitch and two crochet books on sale.
Then Melissa gave both me and Mona this Granny Squares Now book that she bought while on a new year's trip to Dubai.
I'm certainly not lacking for inspiration to get stitching, whether with yarn or thread.
With the new year, I decided it was time for a new blog look. It's always nice to mix things up a bit. Hope your Thursday is a good one!

Hi Tammy,
I like the new look to your blog :)
And I love books - good old fashioned, books - none of the electronic variety for me, no thank you. Looks like you got some good ones and those record books are always fun to read through.
It's been a short week here for me and I'm looking forward to a weekend alone with Jim.
Have a nice day!

Happy Birthday to your honey! Looking forward to seeing what you will be making. The granny square book looks interesting. May have to look into. Willbe making your barley and lentil soup later. Its one of my favorites and has become a favorite of anyone who has tasted this. Have a great day. Blessings.
Hi Tammy
Love the new background, nice and colourful.
Don't talk about books, especially craft books, I can't resist them my shelves are bowing with the weight. I keep thinking I should sell some on Amazon but when I get them down and start reading I just can't part with them, there's always something in there that I might just made one day. I seem to think I am going to live for ever, that's how long all my 'going to make' projects will take. lol
I love your new background....it suits your blog just perfectly.
i love to read the guinness book, always find something so fascinating
Happy Birthday to your Hubby!

Oh I love cross stitch Tammy. I have so many pretty projects I did when I was a young mom. Now that I'm an old mom though it is much harder to do with my close-up eyesight. I know you will be stitching some lovely things this Winter and hope you will share them with us.
Have a great Friday T.
Sending hugs...
