It's Official!

According to the calendar, summer has arrived.

According to the heat in Kuwait, summer arrived months ago.

The humidity of the past several days brought my flowers out of hiding.

But now the heat is back. Wind is blowing. I wonder if a dust storm is around the corner.

When some folks think of summer, they think ice cream! I'm not really an ice cream kinda girl, but a friend gave me this Haagen Dazs the other day because no one in her family liked it. Choc Choc Chip! Who wouldn't like that? I enjoyed two small bowls, then the kids found it and it was history!

Other than errands, I've been cross-stitching and crocheting. My husband keeps telling me I need to start packing. All in good time.

Colorful sunsets are few and far between these days. There is usually dust or the haze of humidity blocking the view. But last night while I was watering plants on the balcony, I was happy to see a little color in the sky.

I hope your day is filled with sweet summer surprises! Have a great week! Blessings, Tammy

Bet you are getting so excited about your trip! I'm NOT a summer kinda girl so I would not be happy in that kind of heat. Keep on dustin'!

It's hard to believe anyone wouldn't like choc choc chip ice cream. Your gain! I used to cross stitch years ago. I got burned out. I still have all my floss. Someday I'll get it back out again.

Your flower blooms are amazing, how gorgeous. I'm not a summer person really but I have to say it comes with the most wonderful coloring. Packing ... yay ... when are you coming? It will be exciting to at least know that you are here!

Your flowers are lovely. We have two little hibiscus trees in the back yard that have been flowering constantly for the last two months. They are wonderful.
It made me smile to know you were eating ice cream. That is my territory. I have been good lately, but ice cream is the world's most perfect food if you ask me.
Keep cross stitching, my friend. I have been doing some too. I have been doing a lot of things. They will ultimately make their way to your suitcase! HA!
Sam should know you well enough to know that not only will packing get done, but it will be put into the least amount of bags possible. Can't wait to know you are here!!

Love ya,
Renee
