Indian Souk and Food

One of my favorite places to shop.

It's a big jumble of wood and glass ...

odds and ends. But I just love it all.

These heart-shaped glass ornaments came home with me.

And it's where I got this wooden trunk sometime back.

Isn't this a great entryway?

Yesterday we had Indian food for lunch.

We were on the upper floor of the restaurant and this grand chandelier was near our table.

They have huge colorful couches at some of the tables. There's me with my new color and cut (thanks Kathy) and Zack always with a big smile.

I had to bribe Yusef to even get this picture.

Packing continues. Only one more day and then we are off. Sending good wishes and blessings your way for a beautiful day and a wonderful weekend, Tammy

Tammy,

Thank you for visiting oldgreymare. How you found me from where you are I'll never know....

I've just been buzzing around your blog and I am so curious to know the how/why of so many travels (husband's work?) and where is home originally?

Please tell me you will join us July 1st for Project Genesis. Either with a link to one of your recycling projects like the cereal boxes or a new one.

I can tell you are the right kind of blogger I'm looking for. This is a new venture for me but I am committed to giving it a good try.

as for family....If you go farther into the blog you will see many references to my Dad DJR.
I adored my Dad and miss him every day. My Mom became chronically ill when I was 8 and the horrible illness that she lived with the next 42 years profoundly altered all our lives. I am at peace finally with it and have no regrets. We all knew we loved each other, I just wish it had not been so tumultuous.

Sorry to drone on here in comments - but I couldn't fine email address for you.

More info on Genesis coming soon, please join us, I'd love to have you. There may only be handful of us but even if we each reach just one person...well, you know.

Enjoy your weekend!

Suzan

I LOVE that store! And those hearts and door knobs. If I were there, I'd be shoppin' there ALOT! GREAT pictures of you and your family. That chair is outstanding!
Ok, I don't follow instructions very well...the Bloggerette picture in particular. And I color outside the lines, too!
You're getting close to your trip. Hope it's safe and wonderful.

What a fun posting. I just looking around in different shops around the world.

So....I have a McDonalds cheeseburger and fries while reading away this afternoon for a late lunch... Can you smell them? I'm sending you a whif with my comments.

Not to worry, you will be home soon and can try their new Carmel Frappe, to die for on a hot day.

Love the new do...... Finally, got mine trimmed up this week. So much better.
