Out and About

Our friend, Mr. Luis, is here from Spain on business.

Last nite we took him to a Kuwaiti restaurant.

The area was apartments many, many years ago and has now been turned into restaurants.

I was impressed with the interior of the restaurant. Beautiful paintings on the walls.

This was the view from our table.

Lots of artefacts from the past.

It's nice to see history preserved.

There was the perfect opportunity for a full moon photo between the brightly lit highrise buildings of Kuwait City. Even though my digital camera has a night picture mode, I just couldn't get rid of the glare. The sight truly was perfectly magnificent; however, my photo is not.

Hope you have a perfectly fabulous Friday and a great weekend to come. Peace & blessings, Tammy

Wow....I just love it that the owners chose to use antiquities for decor....I think that is so important to a country.
Great photos.....

Thanks for sharing a little of your world with us. It is amazing to me, one who hasn't traveled much out of the US, to see other lovely places from around the world.

Thankf dfor stopping by - I looked at your favorites in books, music and movies and we have a lot in common - I LOVE Stephanie Plum and all her quirky friends! And the Blosson Street characters? Wonderful :-)

Oh, seems we all are "under the same moon" - was out this morning about 5 and saw the most awesome, HUGE moon just as clear as a ..well, HUGE moon in the sky ;-D

HI Tammy, so glad to hear from you. I have a hard time getting around to all the blogs I love and thanks goodness for your visit. I haven't forgotten you, just a lot going on in my family right now. Big wedding tomorrow, our first grandchild to be married. I am about partied out. Hard to do when you get older. Love the pictures of the restaurant and would like to hear about the foot too.

Nice to hear that Sam's business friend is in town. I am sure it is an experience for him to go to such unique restaurants like the one you took him to. What a really cool place. I hope the food was as nice as the atmoshphere in the restaurant.
Love the picture of the moon, even if it did not turn out as nicely as you wanted.

Hope you enjoy the weekend!!

Love,
Renee

I never have figured out the night mode on my camera. But then I'm only out in the yard at night. I've gotta read that manual one of these days.
