Bird Watching

A window to the world and Jingles favorite pastime.

It seems my new little plants on the balcony are being enjoyed by the birds.

We have tinted windows so they can't see in, but we can see out and Jingles was going bonkers over this one.

I tried to find out what type of little bird it is. He was so cute and had a long bill but was flitting around so much it was hard to get a really good picture.

Jingles really wanted me to open the door so she could go out, but that would have just scared the little guy away. So we continued to watch from our side.

The world is a looking glass and gives back to every man the reflection of his own face. (William M. Thackeray)

I hope that you are having a quiet day for reflection in your neck of the woods. Peace & blessings, Tammy

That's so sweet! Our youngest cat was swaying from my curtains this morning... we set up a new birdfeeder in our yard and the kitten just couldn't contain herself with all the action going on outside! (Thank goodness the curtains aren't new! lol) She's now wiped out, and probably won't wake up until the kids get home from school. ;)

Poor tormented Jingles!!!!! Horray for the birdie that is protected by the glass!!!!!!
Great photos...they made me laugh!
I have no animals at the moment so love when you post about yours! We had a Schnauzer ages ago and just have never replaced her, but I love dogs and hope someday to get another one. To hike and run with or just sit on my lap! I'm not fussy!
Have a great relaxing day.
Hugs,
Jan

The bird and kitty pictures are so cute!! I think that kitty wants to get out and see what all the fuss is about. lol

Thanks for your comment on my blog Tammy. I agree...little ones take SO MUCH energy and I can't do it anymore either. That is why I only watch her one day a week and after that day...I am EXHAUSTED! But...I wouldn't trade it for anything either.
Have a beautiful day!!!
Hugs~

I love to sit at my computer and look out my window at the birds too. Does that mean I'm cat-like? One has to think about that ????

Great pictures,
Kate

Sweet pictures Tammy. Does Jingles make that little chirpy noise that cats make when they see a bird? Mine do...it's so funny. Have a wonderful day.

I can't tell what that bird is. It might be one that we don't get here. Those cats just love to play watch, don't they?

Jingles sure has not changed much. I am laughing to know how tormented he must have been watching that bird. HA! I have bird watching a lot lately too. Hummingbirds on that blog link you sent me. Phoebe had her second egg hatch last night at sunset. They named her Hako which means star. Wish I could find a hummingbird nest in my yard. I would never get anything done, as I would be watching the nest all day! HA!

Have a great night!

Love,
Renee

How lovely you have the flowers and plants on your patio and they attract birds. Poor Jingles - she's going to lose her marbles wanting to get at them. Lovely post, Tammy. Diane

Love the picture of jingles. He is such a pretty cat. Love the plants ...
Hope all is well there. It has turned cold and is raining. I covered up some of my outside plants to protect them from the wind and cold.

Hugs to you all.

Hi Tammy!

How cute! I'll bet Jingles was just chattering away at that bird. Winnie does the same thing to bugs, birds, stray leaves flying by. It's so cute!

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

I love the photo of Jingles by the window! Very artistic...I to enjoy watching the birds coming to my back patio...pigeons among them!, so it's a treat. That is when Lucas&Mateo don't go out running like mad and scare them away ;-)
