Happy Pink Saturday

Good morning! Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Today's weather is so-so.

My geraniums are still blooming although they are covered in a light layer of dust as is everything else around here.
**********
Yesterday while we were out I picked up a few magazines.

I don't buy magazines much anymore as they are so expensive but decided to splurge. Since I had no other obligations or responsibilities, I thought today would be a good day for crafting, reading, cooking and a little cleaning (very little).

I found this one while I was out this morning. Can't believe I actually found it in Kuwait.

And the Robins Eggs for Easter which are almost gone. Now I'm having sugar overload.

I love free days when I can truly "Dwell in possibility."

Wishing you many blessings, Tammy

I'm glad you found some magazines over there. I found a thrift store that sells them for 49 cents or five for a dollar.
My geraniums from last year are in the basement in a paper bag. When I get back from Florida I will put them in pots.

Have a great to nothing day

Love the geraniums - it snowed here yesterday so it's so nice to see some flowers, even if they're not mine. I'm having a sewing day today, too! I've very excited to melt into that world (also after very little cleaning).
Beautiful day to you!

I am going to hunt down a Flea Market Style magazine. There are so few good magazines on the market anymore. I keep my old ones and read them over again. Glad you get to have a ME day. We all need them but rarely get one.

Hi Tammy,
Your "Dwell" cross-stitch is so inspiring...just beautiful. Cool, you got the Flea Market Style magazine in K. I couldn't believe I found it, too, at our grocery store - I was so excited. It's a good 'un, eh? That Papercraft one really interests me...I'll have to look for it here.
Thanks for stopping by my blog. Yes, that tin on the right is Avon and the little tin beside it is a Wagner tea tin.
You look so pretty in your header picture in the sari(?).
Hugz and luv,
Mary
p.s. Kona says "thanks" :D

Thanks for peaking in at my blog today. I will post more Flower Show photos this week. Took tons. Love your blog. You sure have some interesting photos and live in an interesting yet dusty area of our world. I enjoyed looking back on past posts. I will follow your blog to see what is up in your area and I also find this blog thing so interesting.

Hello, Tammy,
I love geraniums, don't you? They are such a happy flower. You found some good magazines there. I, too, just recently found the Flea Market style magazine. It sounds like you have a perfect weekend planned. Enjoy it, my dear friend! Vicki

I had my lazy day yesterday. Got a little bit of shopping in today. Took the girls and Nasser and I actually had a nice time just window shopping. I'll probally be chasing you down in the future for those magazines to get ideas for when we eventually start on our house....someday. The weather did start off a little iffy but ended up being rather nice later on in the day. Hardaly any dust and a nice cool breeze. Reminded me of a summer night in NY.
I haven't seen any Easter candy yet down this way yet. Im more of a Halloween candy type person. Hope you were able to do a little crafting today. Enjoy the rest of your week.

I'm a magazine maniac and those look like good ones. I actually did get that last one.
Spring had sprung around here but today awoke to thunder storms for about an hour. Now just cold and windy. Good day for indoor crafting.
Glad to her you're having a little down time.
Enjoy!

Tammy, I'm glad you have a free day. We all need those once in a while, don't we. It's great you could find that mag there. I got it, read it and then sent it to my daughter in Alaska. Enjoy the day!!

Fab Flowers. What fun mags to snuggle up with. Just trying to catch up on all my blogger buddies tonight. It was 75 and sunny at the pool all day.

I just picked up the Flea Market Style magazine today too. I've been enjoying it. I went with my friend to the Rose Bowl Flea Market last week and there was a guy there giving a tour. Yes, a tour of a flea market. My friend asked who he was and his name was Eddie Ross. We didn't know him, but today I was reading the magazine and there was his photo, right next to Mary Engelbreit. Too funny.
Your stitchery is beautiful, and I love those robins eggs too :-)
Blessings,
Marcia

Whenever I click on your blog, I wonder "What will Tammy share today?"

You found Flea Market Style in Kuwait? I'm still looking for it here. :)

Your day sounds lovely (except for the dust). Enjoy!

Your hydrangeas are pretty. Remember I have nothing blooming here yet. I have been doing well with my eating ... have given up ice cream completely and don't miss it a bit. I find myself buying less magazines these days... I find the blogs are interesting enough.
love ya!

I had a little brain poof... I mean geraniums !!

Hi Tammy, I rarely buy magazines anymore either. If I'd get Flea Market style over here, I'd for sure buy that one though. Enjoy your magazines!

Your geraniums are beautiful, even if they do have a bit of dust on them. I know that any spot of color in the otherwise drab colors of Kuwait are a wonderful thing.
How lovely to know that you had such a relaxing day. The magazines you found are great. The paper craft one reminded me of the card magazine you bought while I was there. I think we made Melissa's baby shower invitations from one of it's pictures.
I laughed to see the "Dwell in possibilities" cross stitch. I know where you got it from, and thought I might have made it for you, but I don't think I ever did that one for you. I am thinking now that you did it for yourself.

Glad you had such a nice day. The last 10 days here have been really busy, but nice. Kids are back in school now, so I am getting caught up. YEA!!

Have a great Monday!!

Love,
Renee
