Happy Pink Saturday!

Hello dear friends! I do hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. For us, Friday consisted of Japanese food for lunch and Zack's 4 pm ball game. For me, there was also cleaning and crocheting involved. Saturday marks the last day of the weekend then it is back to school/work tomorrow. For Pink Saturday, I thought I would share many LOVELY birthday gifts given to me by sweet friends. Karen's gift came in a beautiful box ...

from which this very spring-like bag sprung forth.

A sweet faux rose ...

from my dear friend, Zainab.

Along with a lovely set of potpouri and amethyst colored glass dish for display.

You left the most charming post on my blog today (a journey...) about my little box with eggs. First, thank you for coming by and visiting me! Secondly, your blog is truly the most interesting one I've visited! So far from the USA but look at the lovely things you get to see everyday and the beautiful friends you have there. Third, I am going to put you into my favorites and follow your adventures. I haven't gotten to the part as to WHY you are over there, but it'll give me something to find in your postings!
Have a wonderful day...oh, I crochet, too! I bet you are surrounded with wonderful colors in K. sigh.........

How nice to know that the girls took such good care of you. Karen comes up with some great gifts. She is the one who gave me my hot pink wallet when I was there. Great bag that she gave you. Zainab has not changed at all. She looks wonderful. I love knowing that you had such a good day with the girls. I miss all of you so much!! Hope Zack won his ball game. We had testing today at golf. Omar graduated to the next level by passing the written test and the golf skills test. Dany and Zane were not so lucky, which means that in two weeks, I will leave the house at 10:15 on Saturday mornings to get Omar ot lessons by 11:00, then stay until 3PM, as Dany and Zane will start their practice at 1PM. YIKES!! I am thinking about setting up a tent and just camping out at the driving range. HA!

Omar found me this morning and told me to make the sugar syrup as he saw the first hummingbird of the season. I have it out there, but have not seen any visitors yet. I am trying to be patient...

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday!!

Love always,
Renee
