Today's Gonna be a Good, Good Day!

I love Friday! It's the weekend and time to play. Normally I try to sleep a little later than usual, but Sam got me up at 6:30 am to have coffee with him on the balcony. It was a great way to start the day.

I had my coffee with a few slices of halloumi cheese and wheat toast with orange marmalade.

My boss went to Seville Spain last month for a conference and brought the marmalade back. Yum!

I don't have a studio but a girl can dream!

After doing a little housework and tidying up, we took Zack to baseball practice and then headed over to Friday Market. Old brass items and tins.

Tons of old Pepsi bottles.

And check out the old Singer machines. Sam said I shoulda bought one. Maybe we will go again next week. Now that the weather is nice, the market was full of vendors selling all kinds of new and used stuff.

I bought this painted tin.

Sweet Santa.

Collection of matches decorated with old carpet designs; wooden eggs and new reading glasses.

A brass dahla.

Sadu wool rug.

And finally, some red and green trim and these sweet little dolls. I thought they would be great for Christmas decorating or to attach to holiday gifts.

And all of this by 10 am. We still have the whole day ahead of us. Who knows what else could be in store. Wishing you all a day of beauty and blessings, Tammy

your day sounds perfect already, starting with hot coffee in the company of DH on the balcony, and then getting better from there! And all before 10 am! We all need fabulous days like that. Here is hoping that the magic of today stays with you righ through the entire weekend and making it easy to start into the Monday's blues! warmly, Debby

wow! You have been very busy this morning. I love the little dolls you found ---looks like many treasures could be found there. Enjoy the rest of your day. I'm ready for morning coffee and there will be no sitting on porch with it unless I wear my coat.

What is a dahla? It is some type of decantur? I love open markets. I always try to go to them when I am in a place where they have them. We have them in our town, but only during the growing season in the warm months. You have some neat things. I love the brass and fabrics.
Things for your visits Tammy.

So many great finds for you. What will you do with the sewing machine if you go back to get it? Can't wait to see what you find at the bazaar. hugs!

What a great way to start your day. Coffee with the hubby! Omar had a busy morning, but we made up for it this afternoon by taking a nice walk. In the rain at that. Sometimes getting wet is not a bad thing...
Your Friday market is fantastic. I cannot believe all the things you found. It is funny because your house seemed pretty full when I was there, but you manage to find room for the new stuff. Wish I was there to see it all. I love all the stuff you bought today. Did you get the wooden eggs for Malena??? HA!

Hope the rest of your day was as good as the first part!!

Love,
Renee
