Yesterday I met with friends for brunch. When you live so far away from "home", your friends become your family. "In the sweetness of friendship let there be laughter, and sharing of pleasures."

"Wishing to be friends is quick work, but friendship is a slow-ripening fruit."

Elena is lucky to have a beautiful lemon tree right outside her front door.
My dear friend Melissa (sitting next to me in the photo above) surprised me with a gift. There was a time when this girl was not so crafty.
Thanks Melissa! Who doesn't love candles, especially when they are environmentally- friendly.
"Let there be no purpose in friendship save the deepening of the spirit."
-- Khalil Gibran.
"We are each of us angels with only one wing, and we can only fly by embracing one another." ~Luciano de Crescenzo
I am thankful for the many blessings of friendship. Best wishes to you all! Tammy
