Saturday Sampler and a little pink

This is what I awoke to this morning! A big bang as Jingles toppled over the 3-tiered basket of yarn.

I went to a holiday bazaar with a friend mid-morning. I tried to buy handmade/crafted or original-designed items rather than the regular commercial items. This is a glass camel ornament with colored swirls of pink, gold, green and white.

A crocheted broach that I can wear with winter jackets.

A handpainted bottle. I love the old look of the design.

A variety of Christmas cards with a Middle Eastern them.

Crocheted snowflakes. I'm dreaming of cooler weather as it is still quite warm here during the day.

M&M cookie lollies for the kids

Pumpkin biscotti to have with afternoon tea.

Kitty cat cards and catnip mice (the cards are for me and the mice are for Jingles). Money from these purchases goes to a local animal shelter.

Happy Pink Saturday to one and all! Blessings, Tammy

Tammy you really found some wonderful things to bring home to the nest.
I hope to make it to a holiday bazaar or two this year. I haven't been to one in years. Your post has inspired me to go look some up in my area.
Have a great weekend friend.
Hugs,
June

The crocheted pin is my favorite also but the camel will be wonderful for Christmas too. Thank you so much for your sweet comments on my post about the snow scene. It was fun to make and is actually very easy though messy with glitter everywhere but it is that time of the year...lol

You always find the cutest thing and know how to present it so nicely. I am so clueless about decorating I might as well just live in a tent. Love the pin and I would love some of those cookies too!

Sounds like your Jingles plays while you sleep, too. Ours is the same way - you can hear her darting here and there after imaginary beasties, which makes me laugh even though I was sleeping.
The glass camel is so neat. I love camels anyway and that interpretation with colored glass makes it even neater. Darling crocheted brooch and I really like the painted bottle-cool find! It's funny how we've incorporated the word "bazaar" into our language. But, when you say bazaar, you mean bazaar! The original, ancient shopping place.
Happy Pink Saturday~could I fool you into thinking it's really Saturday here because of the time difference? No, I didn't think so ;)

What a great holiday bazaar you found. Really, your pieces are just fantastic. I can't believe someone made that camel. REALLY COOL!! The broach is exquisite and the bottle is unlike anything I have seen. I am not even going to ask if the cookies were appreciated by the boys...
Tell Jingles to behave herself!!

Love,
Renee
