Joining once again with Amy at Love Made My Home for Five on Friday.
Sharing 5 simple pleasures of the day or week.
Balcony adventures: While I water the plants every day, Jingles gets to explore the great outdoors and eat a little grass, too. It's hard to get her to come back inside sometimes.
Cross-stitch: Something I haven't done in a while. I have a really hard time seeing the holes which makes for messy stitches. My days of large patterns on linen are long over. I'm happy just to do quick and easy projects.
Crochet: Lots of stashbusting is going on for the yarnbombing project. I hope to go out tomorrow morning to install some of it.
Yarn Thief: Jingles might be 11 years old, but she still knows how to have fun and that ball of yarn was just way too tempting.
Magazine: A friend just returned from Dubai where she always picks me up a Mollie Makes. Always a fun, inspiring read.
Have a fabulous Friday!

Five great things!!! Well, having your yarn borrowed to be played with perhaps not so much, but watching it being played with is fun isn't it! I just got that MM today! I bought it for the mandala patterns, they look really good don't they. Thank you so much for joining in. I hope that you are having a great weekend! xx
Happy Friday!
On the magazine cover, is that a crocheted dream catcher? Wow...I've never seen a pattern for that item.
LOVE your fur baby. Cats rule!!!
So very nice of you to visit from Five on Friday. Jingles is a sweetheart. I love cats. I have 5, the oldest is 12. I also loved to cross stitch when I was younger. How nice that your friend gave you this lovely magazine. I know you will have fun browsing the pages. Have a nice weekend.
Lovely cross-stitch and crochet projects! The cats are cute. Love it when they get after yarn (only not when it's ruining my work!) :-)
Hi Tammy....Ohhhhh, poor little Jingles. He would love to take a romp out in the grassy countryside, I'm sure. Has he always been an indoor kitty? You keep busy and that's wonderful. Susan
Dearest Tammy,
Yes, you name it our eye sight goes down and I'm afraid that a lot of the fine work I'm getting to old for as well!
Sending you hugs and blessings.
Mariette
Jingles is so cute. Nice try at cross stitch , once you start doing it regularly you will get hang of the holes .Looking fwd to the yarn bombing update .
You sure are using up lots of stash doing your project! I need to go through mine and donate some. I'm beat. I drove us over Mt. Hood to Kahneeta hot springs on the Indian reservation in the high desert today where we swam in the hot springs pool.. then drove back.. fun but jeez I'm tired! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Lovely five! Jingles is so pretty; she's very active for her age. I love the cross stitch; I prefer aida to linen and like simple designs more than complicated. The yarnbombing looks like fun. Take care :-)
Fun post Tammy.
Linda
Jingles does look so helpful 😊 I admire your stitching and have not done any such projects in years, but you do inspire me to want to give it a go again! Wishing you happy days. xx
Lovely list of five things for a Friday, jingles is a sweetheart. Xxx
What a wonderful list and such a cute kitty! That magazine looks great. I have never heard of it before. I recently purchased some materials for cross stitching. I was into it years ago and want to begin again. Have a delightful weekend!
Hi Tammy,
I enjoyed seeing your lovely five on Friday - the cross stitch rose is pretty and loved seeing sweet Jingles having fun in the outdoors.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend
hugs
Carolyn
Beautiful colors in your threads and yarns and it's always nice to see Jingles, too. Diane
Hi Tammy
How are you? Been long. Five clicks all beautiful
All sweet happy things. :)
Hope you enjoy a great week.
You and Jingles are easing into summer nicely ;)
Wendy
I read your post about garbage, here in BC littering along highways is at a minimum, however there are people who dump truck loads in the back country. Shameful..with all the education done over the years, you would think people would respect their environment. All we can do is pick up and encourage others by our actions.
Have a wonderful week dear Tammy! xo
