Out and About

We had a week of pretty gray weather but today brilliant blue skies were back.
Walking is so pleasant now.  It really is like meditation for me.
Sometimes I think I could just walk and walk and walk forever.
Hubby does not agree.
An hour is more than enough for him.
Walks.  The body advances while the mind flutters around it like a bird. (Jules Renard)

We tried a new restaurant for lunch.
The first Katsuya opened in Studio City, California in 1997.
And has just expanded to the Middle East with this one that opened on October 30th and another in Dubai.
Nice atmosphere and good food.
We also went to Ikea where they just happened to be promoting a show that we had planned to buy tickets for online.  This performance will take place next weekend.  I know the lady whose husband organized it and she said it took a year to get them here.
Looking forward to that.

I sure do love weekends!
Best wishes,

I love to walk too, and always look forward to when the weather cools off enough here to enjoy walking again. Have a nice weekend! :)

I'm back to walking too and it feels so great and the girls are happy about it too....cooler temps helps! It's not easy trying to take pictures with 2 dogs on leashes but they have learned to stand still when I say stay.
The restaurant looks so nice and yummy dishes! The show looks very interesting. I think they had something similar to it on America's Got Talent. I loved the one I saw...bodies making shapes and shadows telling a story behind a was amazing! You'll have to let me know all about it after you see it. TTYL! Can you believe I was the 2nd comment? I'm getting better! LOL!

I am so glad your weather is a bit better. Today it is chilly and cloudy out, I love it. I have on jeans and a sweater, I am giddy with happiness. That show looks like it is going to be great.
Enjoy your weekend,

Hi Tammy,

I love walking too - with my Fitbit tracker it told me I have walked 250 kilometers since I got it, which was only a couple of weeks ago.
The blue skies look fabulous and the new restaurant would be nice to dine at.
Look forward to hearing about the Shadowland show - I saw something like that on America's got talent and it was amazing what they did.

Good that you like walking and the weather is favourable too. I have not been on walks for few months now. Hopefully will catch up soon.

Walking is a great way for clearing the head. I wish I had nicer areas to walk ... walking on concrete isn't so nice as walking in the woods. I'm glad things have cooled down for you to be able to enjoy your walks more. The shadow show looks so interesting, you'll have to tell us about it after you've gone. Have a great weekend Tammy!
