We woke to a beautiful day!
Sun shining bright.
Moon to my right.
And clear, blue skies.
Last night the Minister of Education announced that there would be no school today for students. (That made my 10th grader very happy).
But that teachers and staff should go in order to ensure that school grounds were ready for student arrival tomorrow. (Why are there always complainers?)
My work day whizzed by in no time since I was busy trying to make up for yesterday. Homemade vegetable soup was hand delivered to me by our elementary principal and was very much appreciated.
Finished another jar cozy this evening. Small projects are all I seem to be able to focus on lately.
Can you tell that I've been trying to be a more consistent blogger this past week? So nice to find time to catch up with everyone again.
Have a wonderful Wednesday.

I had missed quite a few of your posts which I made up yesterday. Nice jar cozy. They look cute. Yes. You have been fabulous at blogging as always. It feels nice to pop in
That is a pretty jar cozy, and how nice of your principal to bring you home made soup.
I always enjoy a glimpse of your world, Tammy:). Your jar cozies are lovely. Small projects are good. There've been times when all I wanted to make was dishcloths. Have a nice day! Twyla
I'm enjoying your posts too. :-) The jar cozies are so beautiful and I'm sure that they will be enjoyed by whoever receives them.
Hand delivered soup? How nice! You must have a great principal. It's cold here this morning, 24F, but we have a crisp blue sky and that is so much better than the gray clouds of yesterday. Have a lovely day my friend.
Blessings,
Betsy
I have not been posting or reading other blogs much. I spent a little time catching up with you today. I love your little crochet jars. I will have to do a couple of posts soon. It was good to connect with you today.
Yes, I'm always happy to find your posts!! ;) blessings ~ tanna
How cool.. we are both enjoying the same cloudless blue sky! I love your jar cozy.. I've made one but I think I need to make more. Enjoy your glorious weather. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
The calm after the storm is always a relief. A day without the students in school must've seemed a bit like a holiday in itself! Your jar cozies are always so pretty (I keep thinking to try this, but other pressing projects have "Christmas" priority now). Good job on the blogging! And thanks for your comments on the "comments post". Wendy x
Dearest Tammy,
You sure are getting back into the stream again. Crocheting might be a different story but there are more weeks to come. So glad the weather changed positively.
Sweet principal for hand delivering yummy veggie soup!
Hugs,
Mariette
Your sky pictures are simple beautiful, the palm trees make me smile!
XO,
Jane
Good job being a more consistent blogger, Tammy. We sure miss you when you are absent from blogland. That was nice of the principal to give you soup! Have a good Thursday. Susan p.s. And thanks so much for your visits.
How nice that someone brought you homemade soup! Almost makes up for not having the day off...?
yes, your lovely blog posts and updates have been noted and enjoyed! love that crochet cover for the tea light holder (jar)!!
I love reading your posts, so glad you are able to catch up on blogging again.
Love that pretty sun photo-always more special after rainy days-we will be getting rain here for a few days before it turns very cold.
I love your candle cozy-must be really pretty when the candle is lit too. That must have been a treat for you at school-a little break from teaching, and soup delivered for lunch-enjoy your week
Kathy
Glad the sun is shining where you live right now...it's very cloudy (and cold!) here today. I love the jar cozy that you made. :-)
I have not been blogging to much lately because of all the sad things going on.Thanks for your sweet comments. Teddy was to the vet yesterday for blood tests and the results were bad. He is in no pain but is failing quickly. So I spend all my time with him. Losing your best friend is so hard to take. But we will treasure the time we have left.
Your certainly had a heavy rain. The pictures were amazing. And I love your tea lite crochet. They are really beautiful.
Fabulous photographs! Thank you so much for visiting my blog and leaving such sweet and encouraging comments. Have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
We also had a couple of very nice ( but very, very cold ) days over here. Great pictures and I love the little jar cozy..w what a fun project :)
