Nomadic Farmers Market

Shakshooka is a popup farmer's market that takes place every Thursday evening.  Its location changes every week and is only announced via Instagram that morning.
Last night's market just happened to be right outside Q8 Bookstore, so I was able to, as they say "kill two birds with one stone".
Tables are set up by vendors and everything sold is handmade and fresh.  I bought chutneys, fresh produce, habanero sauce, pomegranate & guava jam, hot spiced cider and vegan-gluten-free muffins.
I had the date and walnut muffin for breakfast and my oh my was it ever good.
I'm also in love with cashew butter at the moment and have it every morning on sliced bananas.  Delicious!
Instagram is the social media of choice for advertising in Kuwait.  It's opened up a whole new world to me.  If you have an Instagram account, let me know so I can follow along.  You can find me @tsdailyinspiration.
Best wishes,

Hi Tammy,
Yep, I have an instagram account and have for a while now. I'll look you up there. My daughter encouraged me to get started with it, so I did. :)

Happy weekend,
Linda

I like the idea of the movable market and the foods look delicious. I am not on Instagram. You mention a bookstore, can you buy any book you want where you live, even with Christian topics? I know some countries ban Bibles.

Your breakfast if making me salivate! my goodness, such rich goodies you have.
Such a great Market, I am jealous.
I love instagram! it's a great place to share without being so precise -- little snippets of the day, it's just fun!

Dearest Tammy,
That is probably also a very smart and safe way to announce where the next Shakshooka Market will be on Thursday. You WERE lucky for being right there.
Guess cashew butter is as good as almond butter! It shows that you indulged in all the delicious home made foods.
Hugs,
Mariette

PS Lovely photo of you with a friend!

Yum, what delish looking goodies! The muffins look awesome and I may have to get my hands on some cashew butter for my 1/2 of the banana each morning - we share one because a whole one is a lot when you're also scoffing oatmeal with berries!!

I love markets.....happy weekend. Christmas parade downtown here tomorrow - hoping it's warm and dry.

I'm amazed at all the social media sites available to us these days. I'm sure I would enjoy it, too... but, just don't want one more thing to check out. LOL! Looks like a great farmer's market. And, friends! blessings ~ tanna

Hi Tammy, I love pop up markets where everything is home made. a far cry from the mass produced goods we get in supermarkets.
Your muffin looks delicious!!
I've been away from my blog as I have started a degree course in design which has kept me very busy. I hope to catch up over the holidays.
Sending you smiles from a very chilly England.

It looks like a very yummy market to visit. Gosh Tammy, I am so old I am not an instagram person, or twitter or really Facebook. I should get with the times but yet still I resist.
Hugs to you and Happy Weekend,
Meredith

What a great market, Tammy. The chutneys, sauces and jams you bought sound wonderful. Enjoy! Hubby made two kinds of fig chutney this year. Very yummy.

I think you figured out who I am on Instagram! I use Instagram in fits and starts, but I want to do a picture a day for the year beginning January 1. Look forward to following you there--you always take such nice photos.

Pop up markets announced via Instagram...what FUN!!!

Breakfast sounded delicious! OH yes, book-stores used to be a huge weakness of mine until I discovered I could buy them cheaper online. ;)

Have a great day! xx

Well, how FABULOUS is THIS?!!! What fun - I would be right there with you, each week. And Cashew Butter? I am dieting, and cashews are part of it - I am absolutely going to look up and see if I can find some of that, somewhere here in town - I think I'll head to organic Whole Foods...thanks for making me lick my lips over that one! Happy rest of your week, Tammy - XOXOXO
