Winter Break!

I participated in a Secret Santa Exchange at school this past week.
It was fun to write poems with clues and collect gifts for the person whose name I chose.
However, my Secret Santa gave me the most awful gifts every day.
Awful, but funny ... and in the end, it turned out to be someone who knows me well.
She definitely had fun teasing me with tacky gifts.
With the final reveal, she gave me a bouquet of cakepops.
Along with woodland animal house socks and pajamas.
Both of which will get a lot of use now that we are officially on winter break until January 6th!
We've had lots of rain the past couple of days.
Perfect weather for tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches.
And in between a bit of cleaning, I have been crocheting.
In my pajamas, of course.
A snowflake gift bag.
A little pouch.
And simple coasters.
I love being at home.

Happy holidays!

Nothing says 'cozy' like tomato soup and a grilled cheese sandwich. YUM

That little devil ~ setting you up like that! Love her sense of humor, tho! And she made up for the 'tricks' nicely!

Have a lovely break, Tammy! Surrounded by yarn, good food, and family. And that includes Jingles.

Hugs
Jan

Aren't those cake pops so pretty?!?!?!
There was another blogger that just made some too..it must be the thing. I've never seen one in person or tasted one but they remind of the petit fours my Mother made once but they were lots more work I think. They do look like a bouquet of flowers too!
I love those socks...they are great! House socks...I wear socks 24/7 (in the Winter anyway)!!! LOL!
Enjoy your holiday at home and with your family and your yarn! LOL! I see you're already fast at work. Are you sure you're not related to Santa's elves?
I love it when you're home too because I get to see all your handiwork and there's lots of it when you're on vacation. Have fun!

How funny that your good friend gave you all sorts of awful gifts --- and then you got that wonderful bouquet of cake pops (yum) and such pretty socks and jammies. It's fun to have friends who love you so much!

Your crochet things are beautiful! You are so creative and come up with such good ideas.

Enjoy your holiday! Hopefully you'll get some nice chilly weather (one can only hope, right?).

Blessings to you!
