The first two days after Christmas, this is where you would have found me.
(minus all the decorative pillows)
It started with a sore throat on Christmas Day and next thing I knew, I had the flu!
After sleeping for nearly 2 days, I am fine now, except for a nagging cough.
Yesterday I definitely felt the need to get out, to move, to breathe some fresh air and get some Vitamin D, so we took an afternoon walk.
Thankfully, the weather is much improved from last week when every day was cloudy and rainy.
In my lucid moments, I continued to create with Christmas in mind.
But it's time now to move on to something new.
I hope the only bug that bites you is the creative one.

Have a great day!

Tammy, I am so sorry you were sick. Lindsey had the flu during Christmas, too. Your crochet tag is beautiful! Have a nice day! Twyla
I do hope you are on the mend Tammy.
There's a lot of colds and flu here as well.
No matter how we try to keep fit and well the bug always finds a way in doesn't it?
Sending you lots of good energy with my thoughts
Love

Oh my goodness! I am glad you are better. I got the stomach flu by noon, the day after Christmas and slept for most of the next day too. I was bummed out about ruining two vacation days, but at least it wasn't Christmas Day like yours. So sorry! Isn't crocheting relaxing? I should do it more. Your creations are lovely!
So sorry to hear you have been ill. There is a bug going around here too. Just talked to a friend last evening that had a sore throat and was in bed. Have hear of many others.
Your crochet continues to inspire me. I made crochet scarves for family members this year. Fun and quick project.
Happy New Year.
Beautiful collection of pillows!
And Jingles looks so relaxed out there on the balcony... :)
Have a great sunday!
So sorry about the flu! It's going around here also....I'm staying home alot. Love the heart tag. Hope you're feeling better. Jan
Dear Tammy,
Sorry you had the flu. Everyone here at that at some point or another from November onward, but it lasted for weeks. My cough has finally lifted after a month or more of severe coughing. So nasty. :( Anyway, like you, we recovered and it's been an enjoyable December.
Unlike you, I have no creativity and am finding the need for further purpose into the coming year. I no longer write on the blog, though I may write a post here or there without photos, and I'm just feeling uninspired to do anything. Christmas break is always a relaxing hermit time - I haven't left the house (except to walk the path behind our house) since last Friday (that's the last day I drove the car). I feel like I could easily do this forever, but I know that eventually boredom will set in.
After so many family gatherings and festivities, I also always get depressed in the time after Christmas or New Years. For now, all of our decorations remain up until after New Years since I follow the true 12-days-of-Christmas which only begin on Christmas....
Best wishes for New Year's Eve and a Happy New Year!! :)
Kind regards,
Linda
Oh no! So sorry you got the flu. Glad you are feeling better now. Sleep and a little time outdoors seems to cure everything!
Those pillows are gorgeous and I love the shot of your cat :)
Me, too. Sorry you lost those precious days off but I'm glad you could just take care of yourself. Wonderful that you're feeling better. Diane
Glad you are feeling better now, make sure you rest up!
Your projects look great.
Sorry to hear you got the bug!
Hope you get better soon!
I hope you continue to feel better with each day. I usually catch something in the fall and then I'm good for the winter!
Your little crochet pieces are darling...never to early to start planning and creating for next year!
XO,
Jane
What a very happy, snoozing kitty-cat! Hope you are feeling much better today.
I hope you are feeling 100% soon, Tammy. The bug bit here over the Christmas holidays as well. Quite a bit of coughing going on! It's a lingering one --- take good care of yourself! Get better quick!

Hi Tammy,
crochet work is very nice, I wish you a happy new year, Happy New Year..
Oh No, so sorry you were sick, I had the flu a week ago and I was miserable! It is bad when you don't want to open your eyes because they hurt! Take it easy, you have had a bad bug.
Hugs to you,
Meredith
Dearest Tammy,
Let's hope that was a final bug for 2012 that bothered you.
Sleeping that much tells you how exhausted a body can be.
Hugs to you,
Mariette
glad you're feeling better :D
Goodness, how that bug can travel. Has been busily visiting here. Hoping that soon it moves out! The tag is adorable, going to check out the link now. Thanks. Blessings.

That bug flew all the way to CA and bit my daughter... She was feeling so lousy Christmas Day... I hope you will feel good a new real soon.
I got bit by the cleaning bug, and have all the drawers in my house cleaned out, and so much JUNK thrown away. Good way to start the New Year, knowing were everything is!!!
Happy New Year, dear.
Aww, so sorry to read you suffered through the flu. Hope your boys didn't get it too. Kitty looks perfectly contented, though!
Maureen

Oh no...so sorry to hear you've been sick, Tammy. Glad you're fine now. Poor Bradley woke up this morning with a very sore throat. I hope it's not going to develop further. :(

Glad to hear your over the worst of it... I've got a lingering cold. Its such a bother!
Best wishes for a glorious New year to you and your family!
big hugs~
Glad you are feeling better Tammy, it's no fun being sick around the holidays!
I just love those tags...perfect for anytime of the year!
Hello Tammy! Sorry to hear you got sick. Our Abbey was in bed with a cold on Christmas day and the day after but it was not the flu.
John and I are in up-state NY currently and I am just getting a chance to visit some blogs. Sending wishes for a very Happy 20131
I'm so sorry you got sick! DO you get a flu shot or don't they have them over there? I have to get one as I take medicine that compromises my immune system. Plus, I'm not around people except when I go to the store. You poor thing...it's awful to be sick especially at the holidays. When my kids were little I always got sick right after the holidays...it was like my body knew with 4 little ones I could NOT get sick at Christmas or there wouldn't be one. LOL! I hope you are better now!
I love your projects...bless you sweetie!
