From the looks of these two, you would think it's cold outside.
But so far we are having a very mild winter.
Which is just fine by me.
Low 50's at night
High 60's during the day.
Any colder and these concrete buildings start to feel like an icebox.
This is perfect walking weather.
Inside today I was making snowflakes.
Some were crocheted.
Some were stitched.
(Definitely need to use a darker thread.)
And some were made into tags
(using an old gift bag that was falling apart).
It's been a very productive day.
Hope yours has been too.

Sunny weather for walking sounds wonderful. Your snowflakes are gorgeous. Very smart of you to use a worn shopping bag for tags. Blessings with Peace and Joy for all of 2013...
That sounds like a perfect day Tammy!
I wish you and your family a wonderful & blessed 2013, with lots of days like these :)
Big hug from the Netherlands,

Your handmade snowflakes are the perfect kind of snow and you are having the kind of winter that I love! After Christmas the temperatures dropped dramatically here. I won't scare you with numbers let's just say, "brrrrrr".

What a lovely pair of doves. And your walking path looks just great. Love all your crafts and homemade things.
I had a very productive two days..as I went through all the drawers in my desk, and bedroom and through away a lot of junk, and now know where everything is.
I was a good accomplishment, but not nearly as pretty as yours.
Gorgeous snowflakes. Loving the crochet ones.
May your new year be wonderful.
Hi Tammy! How does the flu spread around the globe like that? We had it over here too, no fun, I hope that you are feeling much better! I love the snowflakes creations that you made. Have a wonderful New Year full of love and happiness! love, t.xoxoo
Now those are the kind of winter temperatures I could handle!! Wonderful! Those birds are cute. All my sparrows are very fat. I am feeding them extra durring the cold weather. Love those tags out of the old gift bag - very nice!
Wishing you and your family a wonderful 2013 Tammy!

It is chilly here, highs in the low 50's but tomorrow it warms up, I am looking forward to it. Love the snowflakes, I made some last year and hung them up in my window, I put them up again this year to remind me it is winter out.
Hugs to you,
Meredith
Hi Tammy,
Love your snowflakes, in all their forms. I didn't realize it can get that cold in winter, where you are. Sounds like the weather here!
Happy New Year!
The white doves are so beautiful. Dottie
Your winter is like spring to us. :) We're having a mild winter thus far too though. No snow to speak of, except for a few flurries here and there. We did not get either of the last two storms here in east-central Illinois (they went north and south) - Southern Illinois had a foot and a half of snow from the last storm and we here had none. I was sad though because I LOVE winter and winter weather and always hope for tons of snow. Instead, today, was sunny and in the 30s which is mild for here, and I took a wonderful afternoon walk on the trail that runs behind our house.
Hopefully we'll have some real snow before the winter is through. It has just started though - so we'll see.
Kind regards,
Linda
Your gift tags are great! I am sensing you are enjoying your break. :) Me too! Feels good to relax and just be. Have a lovely New Year. Kit
I've got inches of snow on the ground to look at and wouldn't mind stiching some palm trees! Smile...
Dearest Tammy,
You indeed have been quite productive. We had a good walk, not real cold but sunny and with gloves and boots on it feels great for being in the fresh air.
Hope you stay cozy warm in your home!
Hugs to you and wishing you and your loved ones a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Tammy, to you and your family.
Looks like a lovely walk and like the palms.
How sweet your snowflakes are and good idea to make the tags out of a gift bag.
Best wishes for 2013

This is a great picture of the white doves. I just think it's so endearing the way they cuddle with each other. Diane

I love the crochet snowflakes and your gift tags are wonderful. Yes, you could have used a darker thread for the stitched ones. Nevertheless they are lovely. Have a wonderful New Year!
