Kindness: Pay It Forward

Remember there’s no such thing as a small act of kindness. Every act creates a ripple with no logical end. ~ Scott Adams
To practice five things under all circumstances constitutes perfect virtue; these five are gravity, generosity of soul, sincerity, earnestness, and kindness.
Confucius

Since the Connecticut shootings, there is a movement of RAK.
Random Acts of Kindness.
Last month, Nicole Kane at Dabbling All Day was looking for participants in her Pay it Forward post
A concept I've read about but had not participated in.
 It's simple really.
Within a year's time, a handmade gift is is sent to the first 3 people who comment.
My gift arrived all the way from Australia within a matter of weeks.
A stitched card and lovely handmade sewing case.
 Thank you so much Nicole.
It's a lovely gift and will be handy for travel.
So now it is my turn.
But rather than limit my pay it forward to the first three, I will send a little something to everyone who leaves a comment here.
You are free to choose whether you would like to participate or not.

Compassionate thought is the most precious thing there is. It is something that only we human beings can develop. And if we have a good heart, a warm heart, warm feelings, we will be happy and satisfied ourselves, and our friends will experience a friendly and peaceful atmosphere as well. This can be experienced community to community, country to country, continent to continent. ~ Dalai Lama

Blessings to you all,

Dearest Tammy,
That is a very sweet post and shows love and caring.
Great gesture and I would participate where it not so that you are giving already so much by always loyally commenting. THANKS dear friend; wish the world had more like you and some special blogger friends we encounter here!

Tammy this is a wonderful idea. Count me "IN". When I taught, my students did Randon Acts of Kindness and remported back to the class. A fun activity to do with teens.

Your "kindness gift" is lovely. I'm sure you will use the sewing case.

Hi Tammy

You sure have a collection of sayings of great people. I am thinking of starting a journal _`Tammy's quotes' :)

The best gift we can give our children s to make them humble, teach them to empathise, being kind to others and so on.... virtues for making a good human being.

And Tammy..... receiving a gift is always a pleasure

You have a wonderful day

The world can use more RAK's. How can I participate? I have much to give, with a happy heart.

Well, I timed that right didn't I? Although please don't send me anything as at my age I am trying to "downsize" and keep taking boxes to the Thrift Store. But thank you for the thought!
The Christmas Spirit has up and left me thus the reason I haven't blogged. The shootings in the East really squished it this year. We never know minute to minute what can change our life or others or the entire world. It's been an emotionally draining year and Sandy Hook was horrific. It just seems the older I get the less this world makes any sense to me. Any action in a positive direction is to be commended! Bravo to all of you!
