Afternoon Walk

Today we had very mild weather.
Perfect for an afternoon walk.
This time we went a different route so had new sights to see.
My favorite house along the way.
A very colorful bilingual nursery school.
 A bus stop.
 Water fountains.
 Minarets and mosques.
It took us 40 minutes to get to the end of the walkway.
And about 35 to get back home.
How can you explain that you need to know that the trees are still there,
and the hills and the sky?  Anyone knows they are.
How can you say it is time your pulse responded to another rhythm,
the rhythm of the day and the season instead of the hour and the minute?
No, you cannot explain.  So you walk.

Have a beautiful day!

Tammy, it's lovely to catch a glimpse of the surroundings you walk in.
The crystal clear sky enhances your wonderful image of the minarets and mosques in Kuwait. I've had a check through the posts I missed too.
Your rug is amazing, how exciting watching it grow - I would love to watch your deft fingers at work!!
Your snowflakes are magical!

Thanks for taking us along on your walk with us. It's so fun to see the things you see over there on the other side of the world from us here in Oregon.

Those water fountains are beauties -- so different from the stainless steel ones here. And the bus stop!! Graffiti shows up in every country I guess!

We took a walk yesterday.....not another person on the trail, we had snow and then sun and then wind and then sun again. Quite a variety!

Like those drinking fountains....very unique.

Hi to you and Sam! Cute shadows!

Dearest Tammy,
You got a quite interesting walk and took some colorful photos. Special water fountains too and build in such way that your head gets a little shade... like a toadstool.
Hugs to you,
Mariette

I love the sights on your walk Tammy.
The nursery is delightful and so is the bus stop roof.
It's always a pleasure to see your surroundings.
I'm guessing your mild weather is like our mid summer.
Have fun, Angela.x

I love seeing your world. It is so different to mine. By the way a conker is the seed of the Horse Chestnut tree. I've just looked it up and in the USA they're called buckeyes. Is that a familiar word to you? Kathleen.

Hi Tammy!

I´ve been browzing your page... reading and looking at the nice photos. So fun to be back in blogland again! :)

I often read Julia Cameron and one of the best ways to find peace within and let the creativity flow she says is to walk... walk... and walk. So I enjoy that too very much. And I see you often walk around alot even on your trips! :)
Best way to explore new things I think.

I hope you feel fine and looking forward too see your complete rug later. It looks beautiful.

Have a nice middle week!
Susan
