Friday Plans

I have always been delighted at the prospect of a new day, a fresh try, one more start, with perhaps a bit of magic waiting somewhere behind the morning.
J. B. Priestley
A traditional breakfast.
(Pita bread, labaneh with zattar and olive oil, spicy Morrocan olives and cucumber.)
Quiet contemplation.
Taking time to smell the flowers.
Leisurely activities.
Rest and relaxation.
I hope your day holds some of the same.

That all looks delightful. :)

Alas, I'm at work of course, but it ends in just a matter of hours and I expect I'll have a relatively quiet weekend though I will want to get some work done around the house for once. Jim is off, driving to Toronto today and he will be there with his daughters for tomorrow, returning home Sunday.

Enjoy your time,
Linda ♥

I am drinking my morning coffee and then I plan on running a few errands, visiting a friend who just had surgery, coming back home to make some oatmeal date bars, then tonight is date night with my hubby! We're trying a new Mexican restaurant. Have a great weekend!

Tell us more about this labaneh. I have not a clue, but am pretty sure it's healthy. Always looking for something new to make my diet broader. Love the first pic of the sky.

Dearest Tammy,

It is a joy to see you having adapted so completely to the spicy fare of the Middle East and even the Asian cuisine. For me too there is no better food, with endless variety...
Hugs to you and copy Jingles!

have a relaxing weekend. Hope you get some crocheting done.

It is in the 70s today. Rain with thunder and lightening last evening cooled thing down a bit. Back to the 90's by the first of the week. They had predicted dust storms but luckly we had none.

Okay...what is latenah and zattar? It looks good and such a different breakfast than we are used to. It looks like it would make a great lunch too. I'm always looking for healthy things to eat and quick especially for a light meal or snack.
Your crochet is gorgeous...I love your flowers and of course Jingles is as handsome as ever!
I'm with you about fresh starts....I make then often! LOL!

A new day, the morning light does hold some magic to it, it would have to be my favourite time of day. Your kitty does look cute sitting there thinking:) I hope that your Friday had magical moments to enjoy.
