A Lovely Lunch

Yesterday I went to visit a friend after school.
Her place is always very cozy and serene with pretty little vignettes that reflect the season.

We enjoyed a lovely lunch of fish flavored with cumin and honey, pasta alfredo sprinkled with parsley and sauteed spinach with sesame seeds.
Then had a delicious dessert of ginger cake served with brandy cream and green tea.
She gifted me with this beautiful teatowel with a sentiment that is oh so true.
Wishing you a wonderful Wednesday.

Beautiful!
Loved your photos of your visit, though I still can't look at food too much since I'm still only on clear soup and crackers for the time being. ;)

So glad you enjoyed that nice time together.

I'm behind on blog reading and posting - trying to get well this week and still not feeling like writing on the blog much anymore.

Kind regards,
Linda

My sentiments too dear Tammy.
Friends are the key!
A lovely treat to share such a delicious lunch after working all morning - it's the simple things we are grateful for.
I'm sure you won't be using that teatowel for drying dishes!!!

Dearest Tammy, the quote on the towel is so true, and it's so wonderful to go the way with good friends. It seems like you had a lovely day and delicious food. Oh, it's funny - today I had fish and spinach too (and potatoes) - but "fish flavored with cumin and honey" sounds really great - I will try it soon!!! (I used garlic, lemon, pepper & Herbamare-salt, I don't know the english name of it, it's sea-salt spiced with herbs...)
Warm hugs from Austria & happy weekend, Traude
