Simple Pleasure - Fast Food

When you are having a busy day and need something quick to eat, don't run out to your nearest fast food restaurant. Just grab a wrap!

Canned black beans seasoned and quickly heated up along with a bit of salsa, chopped avocado and a dab of sour cream (or anything you like) ...

and you have a delicious meal in minutes.

Although my kids wouldn't agree, I certainly think it is better than anything you can get at Taco Bell!

Sarah and I would like that, but there's no way Jim would ever touch anything like that. :) We rarely ever do fast food, except for when we're in a hurry, traveling. I'll admit though - I like Taco Bell, ha.

Great idea! :-) We don't eat out too often and if we do we usually order a pizza. Your wraps look good though (and healthy). Hope you are having a great day!

Absolutely agree 100%, Tammy. And I use the flour tortillas in place of bread sometimes. Wrap up some lean ham, lettuce, tomato, a bit of mayo and a splash of red wine vinegar and you've got a mini-meal. Love this!

Dearest Tammy,

Smart and economic way; also saving on landfill... thus keeping the planet GREEN.
Beans are a great alternative to meat.

Lots of love,

Mariette

We love to do wraps! Although we have filled them many different ways one of our favorites is black beans and rice heated up with taco seasoning. Then add tomatoes, shredded cheese, sourcream or whatever you like. Yummy.

I've just in the past few months tried black beans (always went with the refried ones), but I do believe the black ones are more healthier.
YUMMY!

Oh, I'm so with you on that one, Tammy!!!! When Jenny was a baby I think the kids and I lived on cheese quesadillas...not her, but the older ones!!!

I hope you're doing great...Do you get Netflix online there? There is movie called Sabah that's on automatic download and I know you'd love it...I saw it last night--it's great!!!! let me know if you see it.

I love wraps when I'm eating out but I never think of making them at home. Looks yummy and so much healthier than that other fast food.
