As I mentioned in yesterday's post, we've had some wacky weather the past several weeks with fog and dust and lots of dreary, drab days. One sandstorm was so strong that it actually sent my potted plants flying off the balcony into the neighbor's yard below.
But yesterday was such a nice day that when I heard a heavy downpour around midnight, I seriously thought I was dreaming. It was really very random. Lasted only a couple of minutes and then was gone
. This morning when I looked out the back door to the left, there was gray sky, and to the right, a blue sky was dotted with clouds.
I've not walked much lately, so was determined to get out the door today no matter what, and I'm so glad I did.
The sky was completely different depending on which direction you were facing.
Flags are being draped and flown as Kuwait gears up for National and Liberation Day celebrations on the 25th and 26th of this month.
Took another walk with hubby in the afternoon and, according to the health app on my phone, my steps for the day totaled 17,687 (which doesn't include the walking I did without my phone), so that made me very happy indeed.
Hope your Saturday is a good one.

Love the images you have posted Tammy.
When I remember to look up at the sky I am always fascinated by the different cloud formations.
The other day a storm was rolling in from the south and the blue sky was being overtaken by dark clouds......it was a sight to behold.
All the best my friend.

I like your attitude.. you just have to look another direction and the world can change from grey to blue skies. I loved seeing your little heart "in the wild" awaiting someone to love it. You spread joy all around you, my friend.
((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Lovely photo's Tammy it does you good to get out for a nice long walk I'm enjoying beach walks when the weather will permit. Have a great week. :) xx
Hi Tammy!
That is alot of steps!
Once you have forced yourself to make a bestir,
you never regret afterwards.
And always something new to see in the photos from your walks
no matter how much you have gone in the same city.
Loving thoughts
from Sussie.
I loved your photos and I’m so impressed by the steps you had. Mine have been so low lately but I am walking more.
Blessings,
Betsy
Hi Tammy,
Well done for all those steps and it is so good to keep track of how active you are.
Love the pretty sky and clouds and how sweet the little heart is - so lovely you are sharing your love.
Happy week
Hugs

I can't wait to get back outside and walking, too. As you know, it's been way too cold to walk outside here (-50F with the wind chill!). Now it's warmer, but it's been raining. I guess I have no excuse...I have a treadmill in my basement. But it's so boring! Can't wait to get back to yoga on Wed.
So glad to hear you got a bit of refreshing rain! What a contrast in those different views of the sky.
Great photos as always. Have a great week, Tammy. :)
Hi Tammy, I think we left behind a bit of gray and indoor air. The mood of the sun in my mood is incredible spring, but today the weather is beautiful and I live in the spring, as soon as possible to have a clear and sunny weather. good weeks .. :)
It's always good to see the skies in your part of the world Tammy!
Have a great week!
Glad you enjoyed your walk. Way to go on getting so many steps in! Impressive!
Tammy - your collage of photos is very appealing - something about the way they are arranged really catches my eye. I especially like the picture with the flowers growing among the rocks. You covered a lot of ground that day - seems you earned yourself another glass of wine!
Dearest Tammy,
Finally catching up on blog reading. We biked yesterday in warm balmy weather, wearing our longer shorts for the first time. Had to stay put on the day before, receiving phone calls from different continents. It is quite special to receive a B'day call from your 98-year old Dad!
Love the walking distance you did and would have loved to join you.
For several years now, Pieter is no longer allowed to walk because his knee cartilage is almost totally worn.
Biking is good, no pressure on the knee and it removes the fluids.
So I've adapted to that. Grateful that he still is able to bike with me on more flat areas.
Here the terrible pollen season just started and that will last a long time.
The Japanese magnolias are blooming, that is early as they usually bloomed on my Mom's B'day, February 12.
Sending you hugs,
Mariette
Rain is always a welcomed thing......as long as it stops on time! Lovely photos! Such a sweet crochet heart! Great on keeping so many steps during your day!
We're having a real February: different weather every couple of days, but much of it is rather harsh. It's been snowing here since noon today and is predicted to last right through tomorrow night, so I'm not doing any walking but at least I'm catching up on my blog-reading :) I'm trying to imagine your plant pots being blown off the balcony - wow! Did the plants - if not the pots - survive?
Great photos, Tammy. The weather is pretty fickle around here as well - we started the day with thunder, lightening and rain, the skies are now cloudless and sunny and blue, and colder temperatures and more rain expected this afternoon. Oh, what to wear.
