Crafting at Table 5

Today's regular meet-up of Kuwait Crafters was held at a new coffee shop in a new complex.
We really enjoyed the cozy ambience at Table 5 on a cloudy day.
I have a thing for gorgeous tiled floors.
Delicious coffee (coconut soy latte).
That went really well with the vegan pumpkin muffins made by Zhraa.
Who also crocheted the cutest jack-o-lanterns for all of us.
Three crocheters + three knitters = 6 crafters at Table 5.
Craftiness is Happiness.
Happy Saturday!

I’m a tile lover too Tammy and these are beautiful in such subtle colours.
It sounds like a very happy gathering of crafters with like-minded interests.
Enjoy your weekend!

That does look fun. A tile patchwork quilt.

Wow, those patchwork tiles are wonderful! Your crafty groups always look like such a great time, with everyone having fun doing their own projects but doing them together. I get a lot of ads for "knitters' retreats" in various stunning locations, but I think I'd rather have fun crafting with a group of friends even in my own "backyard" so to speak.
It's a rainy Saturday here, but the forecast mentioned a nor-easter so I'm just grateful the wind isn't up. And even the rain isn't slowing me down, as I'm already pretty slow - just beginning to relax after a long week.

I always adore your posts about your crafting group meetings. I'd love to belong to one but when I look for one they are usually too early for me or too far away or something. Maybe someday I'll have to start one of my own. I'm happy for you to have these like-minded friends. I'm curious.. how did your group start? ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

What a lovely gathering Tammy and such a lovely, inspiring place to be and craft there !

OH, what a cosy spot for crafting! I wish they did coconut soy lattes here...we settle for soy caramelattes. Those pumpkin scones look delicious! I was only saying to Bradley yesterday that I must make some vegan pumpkin scones...I used to make them a lot. As you know, we Aussies eat pumpkin all year round...it's a staple.

That floor is beautiful! Your craft group sounds like a lot of fun. :)

How lovely to have a group of friends to get together with and craft and drink coffee. I'm meeting with a couple of friends later today myself for coffee, but no crafting!

Dearest Tammy,
What a great new find for good coffee and meeting up with this warm group of kindred spirits!
Indeed, creating things by hand is giving a wonderful feeling and for giving hand made gifts is so special, you hand out part of your soul, your thoughts are stitched into it.
Hugs,
Mariette

I think it is so lovely you can craft with friends. I used to go to a knitting group, we have since disbanded and I miss that level of socializing with people who like to create.

I like the idea of three crocheters + three knitters - balance in all things. And those tiles are stunning!
