Yellow Monday

"In almost every culture yellow represents sunshine, happiness, and warmth."

The Instagram account @colorsoftheweek assigns a color to each day of the week for posting.  I find #orangewednesday to be the hardest, but #yellowmonday is a breeze.

  Yellow on my morning walk.
At The Secret Garden this afternoon.
And on my balcony at the end of the day.
Wishing everyone a great new week!

I do adore yellow.. especially in the Springtime! I would have trouble with orange too, except around Halloween when all the sudden all I can see is orange. Weird. Have a super week! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

What a lovely garden - and the crocheting looks like such fun.

Although not my favourite colour, yellow is a bright harbinger of happiness, aka spring, and in little doses, simply wonderful. I loved it when we lived in the tropics because it was strong enough to stand against all the green in the intense light. The yellow hibiscus are so very pretty. A great collection of yellows.

Enjoyed seeing all the yellow--a cheery color! I remember all the yellow we saw on our visit to Thailand, to honor the king on the 60th anniversary of his reign. I've also "heard" that yellow is becoming very popular. Whether an "in" color or not, it's everywhere in nature and so welcomed.

Lovely little pops of yellow in your day. I find yellow to be a cheerful color. Ever since I can remember I wanted a yellow kitchen. It seems like such a sunny way to start the day.
I will now be keeping my eye out for bits of yellow.
Tammy, thank you so very much for your kind comments. It means a lot to me. Hugs.

I love all the yellow that you showed us today. I painted our house yellow because I feel it's a very cheerful color. It does stand out in the sea and browns, tans and white houses! Ha ha! Have a lovely day my friend.

I'm a fan of yellow especially in Spring when the first things to flower in my garden are all yellow - daffodils, forsythia and primroses, wonderful.
So happy that you brought this big ray of sunshine with you to Mosaic Monday this week.

Dearest Tammy,
Wow, that makes one very happy!
Know those flowers from Indonesia, so lovely to see them around.
Your crocheted yellow flowers look adorable too.
Okay, got the big dinner out of my way again. Our home returns back to normal.
Now catching up on blog visits and other things that I had to hold back.
Sending you hugs,

Hi Tammy, this post suits me as yellow is my favourite colour.
I've taken the leaf out of your book and am leaving little hearts all over the place, I must hang around one day and see what the finder makes of it. lol
As for the paws, your idea of putting the small one on a gift tag is brilliant. The larger one isn't really any good for a coaster as the little pads are slightly raised.

Tammy - I like your mosaics very much. I am a new blogger and still learning. Do you have any tips for how you create your mosaics?

Selecting a color to focus your daily post is very fun. For me Yellow is Pollen this time of year. Yellow "dust" covers everything in just minutes. Yesterday morning just before the Open House I was wiping Yellow pollen off all the deck railings. I do lke the color Yellow...as in Sunshine! Today we have only grey and rain. Lovely walk and photos you shared dear. Happy Colors...<3
