Joys by the Wayside

[Walking] is the perfect way of moving if you want to see into the life of things. It is the one way of freedom. If you go to a place on anything but your own feet you are taken there too fast, and miss a thousand delicate joys that were waiting for you by the wayside.
― Elizabeth von ArnimThe Adventures of Elizabeth in Rügen
It's amazing what a little sunshine and a morning walk can do for one's mood and energy level.
Along the way there were swarms of butterflies, birds tweeting, flowers and trees and a lovely breeze.

Have a fabulous Friday!

Tammy, it is nice to see all the flowers as we still have some snow on the ground. The pictures on my blog with my kiddos was taken about 10 days ago when we were blanketed in snow and offices and schools were closed for several days. I can't imagine what you are going through as you send Yusef to college here in the states. I am only sending my daughter a little over an hour away. It will be a new chapter for both of our lives as moms. Have a great weekend.

I agree. Even riding my bicycle is almost too fast to see things. LOL Lovely pictures and I see you have many of the same flowers that we do here in South Texas. I think our weather is similar.

I must admit that this winter I haven't walked as much as I would love to. But, come spring -that would certainly change!
Thanks for the inspiration! Love the pictures!

Hi Tammy,
Ahhh walking one of my most favorite things to do! I love it.

Loved seeing your photos from such a different place than here. Hey though, we do finally have sunshine here today and right now it's in the upper 30s, the warmest we've had in a while. Supposed to be mid 40's today and upper 50s (dare I say maybe 60 tomorrow - and that will be short weather for sure).

Take care,
Linda

I am very eager to walk. I think we had our last snow this week. I have been very sedentary this winter and really need to get some exercise!
