Sweet Treats and Sounds

My girlfriend, Leslie, and her 8-year old daughter, Renee, gave us individually wrapped cookies the other day. Our family in gingerbread.

 Sam and me.

Yusef and Zack.

So sweet!

Days have been crazy busy of late. Last night Zack played sax in a holiday concert at school. It was hard to get a good picture.

We have two more days of school and then our 2-week winter break will begin. I can't wait!

Have a great week!

That is such a beautiful gift - your gingerbread family!

I still remember our childrens Christmas concerts - such sweet memories... it's a shame it has to happen during such a busy time.

My thoughts are always with the mothers at this time of year - so many things to get done and often not enough time to do it all in!

Wishing you and your family
a peaceful and happy Christmas season
hugs

Cute cookies and fun times with the concert. I won't be around the blog much now because our Christmas break begins today - in fact, in 5 minutes. :)

Hope you and your family have a most blessed Christmas. I never saw a picture of your Christmas tree or decorations - do you decorate?

Blessings always,
Linda

What a cute gift idea and gingerbread is SO yummy! How lovely that Zack plays in the school band. Our kids finished school for the summer on December 9th and have six weeks off. It's so nice to have the break from routine and have Aaron home every day. :)

Hi Tammy,
Leslie and Renee were so sweet to make you all up in gingerbread! The cookies are darling. I loved the photo of the Christmas concert. I sure do miss those now that my children are all grown and gone from here.
I have enjoyed seeing the beautiful decor you have been placing around your home.
Wishing you so much Joy for the season, and thankful to have gotten to know you.

What a sweet gift; I love the cookies. :-) We started our two week break yesterday. I'm looking forward to the time off. Just the R&R and doing what I want for that time will be great. Maybe even a pajama day thrown in there somewhere. :-) Take care.

Cute cookies! I love those concerts. Brings back a lot of memories; my daughter played the clarinet until she was 12 and the concerts were quite entertaining, to say the least. ;-)

That's an adorable and thoughtful gift idea.

I know what you mean when you mentioned in your post that it's hard to take a good photo at your school concert...my kids are having their Christmas concert tonight, and the lighting in the gym is always too difficult to photograph.

Thanks for stopping by and following my blog. I'm following you too.

Merry Christmas to you and your family, and enjoy your holiday break!
