Brunch on a Beautiful Day

I met friends at Le Pain Quotidien this morning for brunch.

We've been blessed with beautiful weather this past week.

It was nice to be outside in the fresh air,
walking and talking.

"A Friend may well be reckoned the masterpiece of Nature."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803 - 1882) US poet & essayist.

Looks like it was a great day for you, Tammy. That restaurant has a very different name. French?

You didn't tell us what you had. Remember, we like details! ha! Susan

I love PQ for breakfast! I was just there last week with a few girlfriends. I could get lost in the bread they have... What a lovely picture of you three sitting by the fountain. Elena has gone back to blonde, and looks amazing, as always. She is such a lovely person. Mona looks exactly the same as I remember her, and you look wonderful. Did you see Kathy? It does not look like she took much length off your hair. It looks good. Enjoy your weather and the company of your good friends. I miss you!

Love ya,
Renee

Dearest Tammy,

Sorry, I'd messed up my blog... you should have seen our very special winterblooms that I'd posted for today instead. Now you will get to it, if right clicked on text always and also if clicked on its thumbnail. We had frost now for the first time a bit more as usual. The Canary Island palm is inside the garage and the pots with jasmines in the greenhouse. This is winter now! But the more those winterblooms do brighten ones day!
Love to you,

Mariette
