Wednesday Wishes

I hope that everyone is having a Happy Hump Day! It's been crazy-busy around here. I had a sudden urge the other day to change up my living room.

Much to my husband's dismay, the urge hits me many times a year. It needed a good cleaning anyways. Dust bunnies are always lurking around this place.

As you can see, I also changed up my blog a bit. The other look just wasn't working for me. Of course, what should have taken 30 minutes last nite, wound up taking 2 hours until I was ready to chuck this laptop! If any of you visit Jodie at Everything Vintage, she did a great post recently about blogging 101. I'm still trying to find my way and have a feeling next week, I'll be making more changes. I'm thinking to go back to this look as it portrays life as I live it at the moment.

Sweet little kittens continue to do well under the foster care of Sheryll and her crew. They are not with me as my schedule with school and work and activities just isn't conducive to taking care of 7 teeny babies.

You know how they say many hands make the load light. Sheryll has many people around her who can lend helping hands. On Monday, the kids and I did go over for another feeding.

I tell you, it is just amazing how wiggly and strong those little munchkins are. Sweet Mitsy loves her babies. It is so precious to see her being ever so watchful over them.

I spent the whole of this afternoon packing and tidying up. We have to be at the airport tomorrow morning by 6:15 am for our flight to Dubai. Zack is in the Little League Tournament there so we are about to take off for a baseball filled crazy busy kinda weekend. And since I've stayed up til nearly midnite the past couple of nites, I'm feeling really pooped out at the moment. Before I hit the hay, I am going to put some crochet supplies in my purse so I can keep busy during the trip. Good nite and sweet dreams dear friends!

I hope the rest of the week is good to you and that you have a beautiful weekend!

Many blessings, Tammy

Have a great trip!!
I think a change is always needed. I am one of those that is always changing and moving things just to have a different surrounding (espcially so when I'm nervous or under stress). Your blog looks lovely!, very Spring-ish, but if you go back to the other one is lovely as well.

Hi Tammy, yr little critters look so good. Its always a blessing to save little souls, and i am sure God puts them in our path. My 4 little foster kitties r doing fine, but one is currently sick with diarrea and i am giving him antibiotic and pedialyte water for dehydration. Sylvester our cat finally started watching them a bit, although he is not fond of babies lol.
I am overcoming my pneumonia now, feeling better after taking cortisone.

changed my haircolour today to feel better lol

Good luck to Zack and have fun in Dubai, hope your way will bring you to Beirut as well on day.
Love & friendship
Maria

I'm quite surprised by how much the kittens have grown since you first posted their pics. They ARE thriving ~ yipppeeee! They've been named, too. Purrcy, Punkin, Pinky (the runt), Pongo, Pickles, Petuti, and Purrty Cash. My personal favorites are Purrcy and Purrty Cash. Enjoy the tournament in Dubai - we'll see you when you get back to Q8! :-) Sheryll

I move things about a lot. Always fall back on the "needed to clean behind there anyways." Have a nice trip!

I used to move my furniture around monthly...to change things up....because yes, there were dust bunnies to tend to...but also I like change....

I seem to have grown out of that stage now...but then again, this new home doesn't really hold out too many different arrangement options...so maybe that's why I stick to the way things are now? lol who knows!

love your home! full of great treasures!

ciao bella
have a nice getaway!

You are probably sitting at a baseball game right now. I hope the team is playing well and enjoying their time.
I always laugh when you change your living room around. I know how much you enjoy doing it, and I am so NOT like that. I have not changed my living space ever. I always have had a problem with change... HA!
It has been a good, but busy last few days. I am EXHAUSTED right now. I have a long day tomorrow, but think I am ready. The pancake mix is made so I can leave them all on a full, happy stomach tomorrow. I cooked some hamburg so I can toss together something in the crock pot tomorrow before I go, laundry is done... The list goes on.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend. I am sure the kitties are looking forward to seeing you and the boys again!!

Have a great vacation!

Love,
Renee

HI Tammy,
It must be spring as so many of us are changing or thinking of changing our blogs. I am ready for a change too and have been thinking about it for a month or so. I think in May I will do something. Glad to see the pics of the tiny kitties. Wishing you a good trip!
