Hi friends! I haven't been around much since our Tea on Tuesday. I laughed yesterday when I read a post by Bunny. On Wednesday, she had "one of those days" where nothing seemed to go right. I feel like I had many of those days all in a row -- for all sorts of reasons. Just haven't been feeling like myself. It truly is a domino effect.

Wednesday night and Thursday morning were Parent Conferences at school. Zack is doing well, but Yusef needs to buckle down for the rest of the year. He's just sliding by in most classes. Thursday afternoon, Jingles enjoyed a nice little rain shower.
Friday I spent the whole day vegging until Zack had Closing Ceremonies for baseball at 5 pm. The season is officially over but have the Little League Tournament coming up this weekend. This was our sky on the ride home last nite ... (Zack took the picture from the backseat while in a moving car.)
This morning's weather had Jingles looking for a place to hide.
At just before 8am, we had a major red sandstorm rush through with winds whipping like crazy. It was like the darkest nite but a pitch red sky rather than black. After that made its way through, the rain began ... and leaking commenced. When the rain hits just right, our bedroom can become a wading pool because of the sliding glass door on the balcony there. We've sealed around the frame, but dry weather conditions for most of the year cause everything to crack and you never know where the next leak will come from.
The weather seems to be doing crazy things all over the world lately. I do hope that you are all having a pleasant and productive weekend. Peace & Blessings, Tammy

Hi Tammy...thanks for stopping by!
Feeling much better and hope you are too!
Craziness around the world...made me think I should have nothing to be down about!
Enjoy your weekend!!
Good morning, Tammy! Sorry you're feeling so down...that happens to me sometimes, too...sounds like you need to make something pretty to inspire you or watch a wonderfully beautiful movie...(that's what I do, anyway!)
Hope things get much better today and you feel back to your normal beautiful self!
Hello Tammy....I think the weather can definitely affect our psyches. Hope you are doing better and that you have a good weekend! Come by to visit anytime. Sincerely, Susan
Dear sweet girl, close your eyes and feel all the hugs from all of us. Hope you feel better soon. Some days are just like that. Keeping you close in thought and prayer. Bless you.
blessings right back to you! your storms sound scary and remind me of the sandstorms we had in the 50's in AZ!
Yes, there seems to be crazy weather all round the world..hope next week is better for you..take care..
Thanks for the update. I thought blizzards were bad. I think I'll take them anytime. Sometimes we just can't be UP all the time even though we want to. Be gentle with yourself. Diane
My favorite quote ever about weather: "There will always be weather whether you like it or not." Find joy in the journey, and the puddles!
I hope your weather is inproving and better days are ahead for you. We have had sunny but cool breezy days..I run out and come right back in. Freeze warnint this evening.. I must protect a few things i set out.
Hugs to you all. Aunt Elaine

Hope that cheers you up....
We have that problem too, everything cracking from the hot, dry weather. We've had alot more rain than usual this year though. We don't get the red sandstorms, but we have beautiful red sunsets. I'll bet you get lots of them too.
Blessings,
Marcia
We all have days where we just feel like veging and doing nothing. Like you said, it's just a funk and I know you will eventually snap out of it and start back on your regular duties of crafting and making people happy. You've also had alot on your plate lately, so its also a way our body is telling us to chill out.
The weather we had the other day was super freaky and I will download some pics for you to share on here if you want. Hope you're feeling better by the time you read this.
Hi, Tammy! I came over to catch up on your blog and make sure I follow you. Your posts are wonderful. The meatless meal looks wonderful and will fit perfectly with my diet. It's rainy here, but I'm glad of that, because we haven't had any rain this April up to now and we need it. This morning it's foggy out and kinda creepy looking, but I love it!
Hope you're having a nice Sunday!
Cheers!
We had windy days here recently but nothing like those awful sandstorms. Today is breezy but sunny and the grass is a glowing green.
Hope you get some reprieve from the sand.
Hope tomorrow is back in line for you...love the kitty peaking out the door....
Hi Sweet friend. I hope happiness returns, soon. We all have the doldrums once in awhile. This is the first weekend I have blog hopped in awhile due to work and lacrosse games of my daughters. I have missed you. Please send me your address. tlsprinkle@yahoo.com
hugs,
Tammy
I've been feeling a bit out of sorts lately too. Glad it's not just me. The weather has been odd all over, it's a bit unnerving.
It has been a while since you have had a stretch of days when you just did not feel like doing anything. I knew when you did not post for a few days that you must be a little off. Glad you are feeling better.
Your weather looks and sounds crazy. Melissa sent me a picture of the storm, and it was just amazing to look at. Those storms used to give me the creepiest feeling when the sky would get all murky. We had a BUNCH of rain yesterday, but today was sunny and nice. Lots of good breeze to go with the sun. I beautiful day.
Sorry you had a bunch of clean up to do after the storm. It seems like it would be an easy problem to fix, but apparently not. Let's hope you don't have any bad rain for a while.
Have a great Monday!
Love,
Renee
Sorry to hear you haven't been feeling yourself. I hope you are doing better. Sounds like a crazy storm you had, first red sand and then rain. What is going on in this world of ours? Makes me wonder just a bit about 2012.
I am sending you hugs... here they come! Did you feel that?! grin
You know I love you sister of the heart!
Sand storm followed by rain?! that is certainly an unexpected mix! Weather has been crazy all over. Here, while in summer, there's been over a week of rain! and not your kind drizzle, full rain with lighting and wind. They say it's a "false winter", but one never knows, right?
Hope weather improves!, as well as that certain something inside so that it brings back inspirationg and willing to write. We all love your posts!
have a lovely week ahead!
