All Creatures Great and Small

All things bright and beautiful,
All creatures great and small,
All things wise and wonderful,
The Lord God made them all.

God gave me a special mission today. To rescue some of His tiniest creatures.
The rescue shelters here are strapped at the moment. Animal Friends League can no longer accept rescues until they are able to rebuild. PAWS has to take up the slack and there are so many animals in this country that need to be saved.

I knew that I could not handle the mission alone. I called my friend Sheryll who is the founder of Operation Hope. Although animals are not Operation Hope's mission, Sheryll's mission is always to serve God in any way He sees fit. I know I can always count on her. This is what I saw on the way to her house this evening.

Every cloud DOES have a silver lining!
I bought bottles and kitten formula and we fed all 7 of these tiny little angels.

They are the wiggliest little things. Zack had a hard time holding onto them, but he certainly tried.

Sheryll's sweet dogs are just as compassionate and caring as she is. It took a while to get all the little ones fed but when we were done they cuddled up and went to sleep.
I don't know what will happen to these little sweeties. I wish I could do more. But I know I did what God called me to do for this day. I am so thankful for Sheryll and her willingness to always help those less fortunate, whether they be big or small.
Much peace and many blessings, Tammy

Oh, what bundles of sweetness! There's nothing quite like a tiny, furry kitten, is there? What a loving job you're doing, Tammy--bless your heart!

Hope all goes well for these little ones...and I hope your day is wonderful today!

Oh my goodness, how sweet are they?! My kids would have been ooohing and awwwing all over them unfortuately our dog Jazz is way too jealous and protective of her domain to invite any other pets in. Hannah took care of that last year and has been keeping a stray fed and loved in the barn! Her and her friends share a furrball kitty named Babes. Have fun with the kittens, Theresa

What a sweet thing you've done! Those kittens will certainly thrive on any human love that comes their way. All three of our cats are adopted. ;) I have a very soft spot in my heart for shelter kitties.

Oh, Tammy. Where ever did you find those little tiny kitties? Poor dears. Where's their Mama? Good for you to want to help them. Hope they can survive. Sincerely, Susan

Where were you when all the neighborhood stray cats were having babies in our garden? I used to have such a good time taming those wild cats. They would eventually have babies, and it would be so much fun to take care of them. I loved hearing about your little adventure to save those baby kittens today. It looks like it was good for you and your boys in addition to being a good thing for the kittens. What a great story! Thanks for sharing your story and the pictures to go with it!

Renee

Tammy - thank you for helping to save the kitties! Who can resist those sweet little babies? If I could handle more cats, I'd certainly have more as I always want to take one home whenever I see them up for adoption. However, my Miss Gracie and Nippy would be not very happy, especially Miss Gracie as we have a whole mother/child-cat thing going on! Bless you, dear one!

My heart breaks for these little guys. Glad you could do what you can. If I was there, I'd adopt a couple. Sorry to hear your having a less than stellar week. My hubby always says that things look better in the morning...I say, I'd rather not open my eyes...lol Hope your doing well and for some strange reason, that red sand storm is gorgeous...although I'm sure it's a pain. Have a great one Tammy.

Hey, thats soooo sweet. I know what ur going thru, have 4 babies at the moment, although i still have my bronchitis cough! Feeding them takes ages, (like every 3 hrs) but its the cutest feeling when they snuggle up to sleep, then wake up and start playing. Mine r 1 month old now, once weened, they can go to another foster home. Our cats just ignore them!.Am sure there is always a devine reason why we r blessed with taking care of these helpless babies!

Oh my, how precious are those little furry babies... I did that with a litter, it is alot of work. I was able to get some kind of protein paste in a tube to give them. Just a little on the tip of the tube. I think it filled their tummies. Mine were about a 1-2 weeks old when I found them.
God does lead us to do what we need to do and when we need to do it. You are definately a beautiful child of God. Thanks for visiting me, my loving bloggy friend. p.s. the cloud picture was beautiful...

Nothing like being the hands, which God uses to take care of some of his tiny creatures. Nothing like... doing Work in the name of God!!! Loving, nurturing and caring for ones who can not take care of themselves. The light of God shines brilliantly through you Tammy. Nothing like, Serving... To lift your spirits. Blessing, Deborah

Tammy,
I have always said 'there is a special place in heaven for those who care for animals'. Bless you my far away friend, some people would just turn their heads & go on with their day. I'm sure it' not easy bringing in a little brood like that, but what joy!! Seeing them snuggled up, with full belly's fast asleep warms my heart. They know they are safe now. If I lived close I would adopt one, I'm sure you'll find good homes when they are ready. Lisa

They are the cutest! God Bless You and your son for helping these tiny creatures. There's a commercial on TV here in the states in which the song is sung by Sara McLaughlin and it just breaks my heart to see these poor abused and neglected animals. I wish I had the money to take them all in. I just love animals! Again, bless you, Tammy!

You are too generous with your words of praise, Tammy, but I thank you nevertheless. All 7 orphans are present and accounted for this morning. Nothing quite like knowing they are thriving despite the odds against it. Glad you and the boys joined us for a feed yesterday. Your boys are precious as you are, Tammy! God bless your day dear one! Sheryll

I LOVE the new look of the blog. The music came on and I almost cried. That song is from one of the CDs that you and I played to death when I was in Kuwait. Whenever I hear that song, I can see myself singing it at my father's funeral. It sounds a bit morbid, but that song speaks in such clear words about how I feel about him. It figures that a song that is so special to me was brought to me today by such a special friend!! Thanks for the happy memories today!!

Love,
Renee

Oh my gosh, they are so cute! I can't believe you're taking on such a load and if you need any help, let me know. I'm sure my kids would be thrilled to take care of some of them. Taking care of 3 was a load but 7...God Bless You! How is Jingles taking to all these lil' meowing creatures invading her domain..hahaha! I'll call you later today.
I see that you are getting out of your funk by redoing your page. Very bright and cheerful and I like the choice of songs even though I've never heard them before. Of course, I don't have time to listen to the whole track cuz it keeps changing.
