Tuesdays for Trash is an account I follow on Instagram; not that I limit my trash picking to Tuesdays only. It's definitely an almost daily occurrence. I easily find plastic bags blowing around so just grab one and start filling it up. The hashtag #plalking stands for "picking up litter while walking".
That picture bottom left is a food wrapper that has started to disintegrate into so many tiny little pieces.
The trash was speaking to me and had a message to share.
Earth Day is every day! (Not just annually on April 22nd.)
Wishing you a lovely day!

Well done for litter picking most days, I found so much more litter was being dropped during lockdown, I'm not sure why? xx
Hi Tammy, it's me Alessandra!!!
My old account homemadeatmyplace has been hacked on IG...
I've started a new one, but I can't find your account on IG : did you change your name?
Please let me know, as I would love to keep in touch! xxxx Ale

All of those plastic bottles make me cringe. They seem to be taking over the planet.
I really admire you for taking it upon yourself to pick up after others. It seems no matter where we live in the world there are people who see no problem with littering. Glad your sense of humor is intact :).
I admire you so much for picking up the litter in your area. Your photos are brilliant and should be shared everywhere! Love your little collage of photos. Purple/lavender are my favorite color so I especially love these. I hope your day is wonderful my dear Tammy.
Blessings and hugs,
Betsy
I never understood why so many throw their trash on the ground-disgusting
I pick up, too! In fact, recently a man said to me as I picked up a bit of trash--I watched a bunch of people just walk right by that without a glance! Yeah, I notice litter. I like the way you played with the words! Good job!
You are a doer while so many are armchair activists. I wonder if others see you picking up the trash are inspired to do so as well.
All the best, Tammy. Trying to get back into this blogging world that I love so much!

It's quite sickening to see how much litter there is lying about, it's disposable masks that really make my stomach turn, what are they thinking! you are doing a great job Tammy. I have just got back from my walk and I didn't see one piece of litter on my 3 mile circular route, that must be a first. Have a lovely day.
I walk around out blocks 3 times a week. I see some trash, but not much. Thank goodness. But people do leave they paper face masks everywhere....so sad.
You and I have had this trash-y conversation too many times already. "nuff said!
Excellent attitude Tammy, there are just not enough considerate people like you! It is despicable the lack of consideration some people have with regards to litter. As for the beaches and the sea it is totally sickening. My husband (Sr P) goes out early mornings for his walk and it has become a routine for him to pick up and dispose of the litter he finds en route and the next day he does it again and so on everyday! Keep well Amanda x
