Creativity Wednesdays With Kathy

KathyinOzarks is hosting Creativity Wednesdays over on her new blog Hummingbird Woodland Studio, so I thought I would join in and share my current #wednesdaywip.
I started the other day making granny squares from my stash yarn, but in order to continue, I had to do a little yarn shopping.
So, that happened yesterday.
And this is where I'm at now.
It will be yet another baby blanket for charity.
While in the States, I made two blankets and three hats that I sent to Preemies of the Carolinas.
And I finished the above blanket when I returned to Kuwait.
The blankets I make will either go to the charity I volunteer with or to other needy organizations.

Devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.
(Mitch Albom)

Have a wonderful Wednesday!

You are so productive! And I love the color combinations. I have been a knitting slouch lately, but am hoping to make a dyepot soon (waiting to hear from friends with a "weed" I need) which will get me going again :)

Wow, you have been busy and what gorgeous items you have been making! You preemie hats are much fancier than the ones I made. I haven't been doing it this year. Your granny blanket and your squares are so pretty. I love your color combinations! I hope you are cooling down...we are still hot here and I think today is the first day of Fall or is it tomorrow? Have a great day and keep up your great crocheting! Hugs~Sam

Wonderful, wonderful Tammy! You probably know how happy this post makes me. One of my greatest joys in life is giving to others. Especially the little ones who don't have much. It's always wonderful to hear of others doing the same. Your crochet is gorgeous. I'm so blessed to be able to call you my friend.
Blessings, Betsy

You rock Tammy!! I'm amazed you found time to crochet while in the States visiting. That large blanket over the fence looks lovely, and so do all the little snippets you have shown of other blankets. The new one is very colourful! Thanks for the reminder of Kathy's party, I think I have something to share :)

I love all the things you made but what I love the most is how you make them to help other people and children. You're the most generous woman.. a real inspiration to me. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

Hi Tammy! Lovely blankets for a lovely causes! I was planning to start something of the sort, like crochet for charity here in India, but life took over and also I didn't get the needed support. However I am always inspired when I see people like you, who do such nice things for others... Let's see if I can make things moving in this direction too.

Have a great day!

Hi there, it's nice to "meet" you, Tammy. Your crocheted projects are really beautiful, and I love that you donate so much of your work to help others. I can't imagine living in Kuwait, but I'm loving the pictures you've shared.
Have a lovely weekend!
