Sharing with Five on Friday

After some time, I'm again joining Amy at Love Made My Home for Five on Friday.

Number one:  Daiya cheezecake.
Oh my!
I found this at the grocery story several weeks ago and let me just say, I'm hooked.
It's so delicious!

Number two:  Plumeria
Last week, the small tree on my balcony bloomed for the very first time.
I've passed them while on walks, but never knew they had a fragrance.
Such a light, sweet scent which apparently is even more fragrant at night.

Number three:  The moon
Tomorrow is the arrival of this month's full moon.
When I took this photo of my plumeria the other evening with the moon in the background, I didn't know that this month's full moon is referred to as the Full Flower Moon.
A very fitting image.

Numbers Three and Four: Two Crochet Finishes
My first triangle scarf made with yarn I've had in my stash for a while.
And the second one just finished today with yarn I bought a couple of months ago.
This one has a fringe that will have me leaving a trail of glitter wherever I go.

And finally, Number Five:
I'm looking forward to attending a workshop tomorrow being given by Lesli Robertson, an atist and Professor of Fibers, who is here as a Fulbright Specialist in a collaborative effort with Sadu House to promote the art of weaving.

Thanks Amy for hosting Five on Friday.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend.

I haven't seen Daiya products anywhere in the UK yet, just a matter of time I am sure. Love the sound of the cheesecakes and your crochet scrarves are utterly gorgeous.

Bet you will love the work shop. Many years ago I used to weave all the time, I feel the urge beginning again.

The triangle shawls are very pretty! Congrats on the finishes!!!

Isn't plumeria pretty. It grows on Merritt Island and always amazes me how TALL they can get.

Hi Tammy, Your photos are always wonderful. I love plumerias, they smell heavenly. Lovely scarves, I like the blue colour - looks vibrant. What is a vegan cheesecake made of? While most Indians are vegetarian, vegan is yet to catch on. Indians love their milk and yogurt too much, what with the mithais, kheer, and lassi ;)
Hope you have a wonderful time at the workshop. Looking forward to a post about it.
Have a lovely weekend.

The plumeria is gorgeous and they do have a wonderful smell from what I've been told. Your scarves are lovely and the workshop looks like fun. I wish I could find that cheesecake here as I am supposed to "steer clear" of dairy. It looks delish! Enjoy your weekend!

Ahhhh - I remember the beautiful Plumeria from HI - lucky you, with your very own. Thanks for the tip on the cheesecake - and the fringed scarves are killer! Looking forward to hearing about your class - Happy Saturday, Tammy.

Such a happy post Tammy! I absolutely love your photo of the plumeria and the moon. How fitting. :-). Your shawls are so pretty. People will think you're a fairy, scattering glitter everywhere. A weaving class. How fun! I've tried to use the little loom that Fifi brought me without a lot of success yet. And it's really just a toy. Have a wonderful weekend my friend.
Blessings,
Betsy

The plumeria is beautiful and looks amazing with the moon. Like Betsy I immediately thought fairy dust when I read about the glitter. I hope you had a great day at the workshop.

Fun post with so much to enjoy.
I saw that same brand of cheesecake in our health food freezer section the other day but couldn't decide on one of the three varieties.
It has been so rainy here in northern Virginia we haven't seen the full moon...but I can still "feel" it. Everything is so lush and green and blooming like crazy.
A very fitting name for May's moon indeed.
Happy rest of the weekend Tammy oxo

Dearest Tammy,
What a lovely post with especially that fragrant plumeria blossom. I miss it so much from our time of living in Indonesia!
Your dessert find is looking yummy indeed. Wonder what the ingredients are...
And you don't cease to surprise me with your steady advancement of crocheting. Love those two triangles.
Sending you hugs and blessings,
Mariette

A lovely five. How wonderful to take that shot with the flower and the moon on such an apt evening. Your crochet finishes are brilliant, well done on completing them (I'd best get on with my latest project!!). Have a lovely Sunday xx

Nice finishes Tammy. I posted the afghan I made for my gdaughter's graduation. On to a quilt piece for a blogger quilt for someone with cancer. Love that pink yarn in your previous post. Some great photo shots too.

This is a lovely post! Beautiful photos. The Plumeria is lovely.
I had no idea this full moon is "The moon of flower". Maybe It´s time
to plant my balcony flowers now then?

I went to a class in Figure weaving in Stockholm in summer of 1993.
I think my Weaving frame stll is somewhere in my cellar...

Have a great time and happy creating!

The flower and moon picture is lovely. I don't think we have that brand of cheesecake in the UK, I wish we did though it looks delicious. I like your crochet finishes, very swish. I hope you have enjoyed your workshop and are having a great weekend xx

Oh my the Plumeria is such a beautifully simple, clean and delicate looking flower - I like that it is not too fussy looking, a classic looking flower.

Enjoy your weaving!

Nice 5 things! :)
Funny, my calendar (Susan Branch) calls this the "Corn Planting Moon" which for here in Illinois is perfect timing (though most of the corn is already planted and growing). The sweet corn in my garden however, is finally sprouting after weeks in the ground (we had too much rain for most of May and too cool of temps and sweet corn and beans need WARMTH). Finally, we are near the upper 80s - my kind of hot weather, I love it.
