This morning I had breakfast with a friend to discuss yarnbombing of The Secret Garden.
And this afternoon I celebrated International Crochet Day with friends at the Sadu House. The event was hosted by the Khayt Group who displayed many of the beautiful projects its members have made.
A lovely day filled with crochet.
Happy Caturday from Jingles.
And Happy International Crochet Day from me!
Best wishes,

A crochet day sounds like the best kind of day to me. I like the little bird.

Thank you for showing all the wonderful crochet projects! I am celebrating by working on my wedding blanket for my niece. A wonderful day. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
I'm in love with the third piece over in your display. The white and purplish color. Beautiful. All the work is great and wish you back a wonderful Caterday!!! What a lovely spot among the pots of plants.
I had no idea there was an international crochet day! Well, here's to all crocheters, wherever they may be!!! xx
And a lovely day of crochet you had. My yarn and crochet hooks have been calling me lately. With triple digit heat I am not ready to work with yarn...yet. Enjoy your yarn-bombing dear...
International Crochet Day? How did I miss that? Great photos.

What beautiful items Tammy - there are some excellent crocheting ladies in your area. I have the feeling this is a very popular craft in Kuwait. Is it easy to purchase yarns in shops there or do most people order online?
Hi Jingles!
What a neat event! Love it! :)

I missed the day too! I knitted when I should have been crocheting! Oh well. Those crochet projects are just beautiful and I laughed at the photo of the ducks.
Blessings,
Betsy
So many beautiful items made! :)
I don't really craft much anymore; instead our weekends are spent driving around in Jim's Porsche spending time together and having fun like teenagers. Loving these middle-aged years. :)
Lovely crochet items!! It's nice you get to see crochet exhibition where you live :)
I had been thinking I had not heard from you in awhile and finally my blogroll rolled your posts to me, but then I had to scroll back to find all the posts I missed! At any rate I enjoyed reading about your crochet celebration even if I wasn't able to celebrate with you in a timely fashion :) xx
How did I miss International Crochet Day???? Look at all the talented crocheters and those beautiful projects. I love Caturday...I'll have to tell Grace and Miss Peeps. I love the floating birdhouse too! Take care sweetie!
