Hello Everyone!

I hope all is well with you. Our internet at home has not been working the past couple of days. Not quite sure why, but very frustrating to say the least.

Our weather has gone from very hot to very humid and, according to weather reports, will be like this through Saturday.

Jingles and I have not watered plants since Monday. I figure they are getting their fair share of moisture with the humidity.

Heavy cloud cover rolled in overnight.

Did you know that the air has to be a little dirty for clouds to form? We had some dust in the sky yesterday, so mix that with the humidity, and you have an overcast sky.

Although our high today was 106, it didn't feel quite so bad since the sun was not beaming down on us.

I've managed a bit of crocheting, a bit of cleaning and a lot of just trying to keep up each and every day. Hope you are having a great week so far. One more day of school and then it is the weekend for us. How I love the weekends! Peace and blessings, Tammy

Thanks for the lovely pictures as always, especially jingles doing a human stand up....
What a coincidence regarding the internet, ours has been out for 3 days and just come back today although still not really right. I often threaten my computer with the dump when it winds me up but when I haven't got it I realise that it is an empty threat, I think the computer does too, I'm sure I can hear it laughing at me.....

Just love Jingles with all the adventures...
Cool here with the furnace running. Have been using apples this week with pie & crisps as they are now coming in season. This year they are plenty expensive but what isn't??!!
Stay Cool....

Dearest Tammy,

Well, I know how aggravating that is, not having internet access... Wish you luck for having it restored soon. The weather is often full of surprises in your area! Wish we would finally get rain here in the south. It looks like dessert climate too. Trees have died, shrubs and plants... Not a nice sight.
Love to you,

Mariette

I look forward to the weekends too!

Great photos....they have a calm, serene quality about them. I would hate not having the internet for three days straight...but then...I'd probably get a lot more done around here. lol

Wish I could zip you over some of our cooler weather..I can't take humid anymore. Sad news. I had Miss T put to sleep today. She hadn't been well for a couple of weeks and I didn't want her to suffer. She was sixteen years old. Will miss her. Hugs Aunt Elaine

How nice of you to stop and visit my little blog! You have an orange tabby, well, you got me right there. Jingles, cute name! I hope you can figure out a way to help the other one, poor thing :(

My, it is hot there - we are fairly done with the heat now, your storm clouds look familiar, we have had them 3-4 days in a row with some rain.

I'll be back!

We are finally getting fall air and it feels wonderful. If I could send some, I would. Do you get to have any fall? Our leaves are beginning to turn & drop. My favorite season.

Sweet little Jingles. He looks like a great garden companion. Thank goodness for those clouds anyway! Have a wonderful rest of the week.

Hi Tammy....Glad you are coping. Do you have any winter there? Even though I dislike ice and heavy snow, I still like cooler weather as opposed to heat. I'd never make it in Kuwait. Take care, Tammy, and keep well. Susan

Beautiful photo of the sunset!
I experienced the "wet air" more than ever before one day last summer when I was sitting on my balcony reading in the sun. I said to my hubby "it feels like I am sitting by a pool the air is full of water drops"! About half an hour later we had the worse rain that summer! It lasted for only 50 minutes but it was flooding in the basement and it rained in through the window slit in the bedroom so that the water ran down on the floor. I still remember the feeling of the waterdrops in the air. It felt strange. The weather is changing significantly here. We get more thunder for example than we had before. And more storms.
Mother Earth is cleaning herself...
I wish you a wonderful day and weekend! Blessings!

Green and Purple! yes...surprise! that was part of my plan!

I hope you stay cool...and indoors and crochet to your hearts content!
I feel like this week has gone by too fast...and the weekend comes rolling along before I'm ready!

I love Norah Jones, btw! She's so silky....well, her voice is!

Hey, I know what you could do...you could try your hand at scribble drawing! that might be fun!

I too have been doing quite a bit of crocheting lately, little baby blankets and fall scarfs. Is it hard to breath out in that high temp? Mom had to put Ms.T down yesterday. I have been busy with grandchildren yet this week.
love!

Wish we could have some of those clouds. Busy getting things ready for my trip and the blog party on Sunday evening. Wish I could see all my favs there.
As for the magazine, I wished I had gotten two and use on for a give away. Kicking myself.
Enjoy the weekend and happy needle work.
Blessings ;-)

Your pics are lovely!
The temps in Dubai are a bit better this week (about 40C each day but not as humid). I'm anxious to get out walking and hope things continue to cool.
It looks like you had a great trip to Paris - I just love it there and no matter how many times you may visit, it just never gets old! Nice that you can take your crocheting with you anywhere so you can keep your creativity going.
We finally received all of our goods from Canada a couple of weeks ago so I've been busy trying to find places for things (including all of our winter clothing that won't be needed here but will have to be accessible if we visit Canada in the winter). These darn apartments have such limited storage!
Have a fantastic weekend! xo
