Seeing Red

Our internet was very slow yesterday which made uploading impossible.

It was even hard to view blogs at one point so I resorted to trying out patterns that I had previously bookmarked; like this pretty little drawstring bag.

You can find the pattern over at Chalky's World. They will be great for filling with gifts for the holidays.

Last week I tried out this pattern for a heart dishcloth. Can't remember where I got the pattern, but I will say it drove me crazy. Even though I was sure I was doing it right, I could not get the hearts to line up. My first one was a bust, but this second one came out much better -- there's only one lopsided heart (please tell me you see the hearts; hubby said he could only see lumps!!!).

Leftover yarn is used to whip up these simple hearts.

I made this little Love pillow earlier in the month. Can you believe July is almost over?

"It is not how much you do, but how much love you put in the doing."

Have a wonderful Wednesday! Friendship blessings, Tammy

My service has been slow the last few days -- I blame it on the heat. I blame everything on the heat these days. Just seems to make me feel better when I have something to blame. Stay cool! Jan

I see the hearts! Men! They really do the best they can but they're sometmes very bad critics of our work aren't they!! I love hearts, too, they're so pretty and yours are too. I have a petticoat that I just recently listed in my Etsy shop and it has heart lace on the bottom. I just love that! Have a great day Tammy. Diane

I too see the hearts! Men don't know how to look at things like we do. I am enjoying my down time after having the kids for 7 days. Next week Jonni goes back to work and I will start watching baby Aiden.
hugs and kisses!

I can see the hearts too. Maybe it's like one of those 3-D hidden pictures that you have to stare at for a while before the picture appears. Your sweetheart just needs to look a little longer ;-)

I do see the hearts in your crochet. It is fun to see all of your projects. That little crochet bag would be great to make up and have several on hand for gifts. I like the quote at the end of your post.

Even a slow computer cannot slow you down. Good for you for finding a way to get your crochet time in today, even with a lack of online patterns. I love the heart patterns you did, and YES, I can see the hearts. Tell sam that he needs to step it up if he is going to keep up with you! I loe the single heart that you did. Very nice!!!!!
Keep it up, my friend!!!
