Wow!

Where does the time go? The end of a week and a new month upon us. I hope everyone is having a good week. If you had a three-day weekend in observance of Memorial Day, I hope it was a good one.

Days have been busy at school and home. Our oldest son and a friend sustained injuries on Tuesday when they were getting off a bus that didn't stop completely. A young man who saw what happened drove them to the nearest hospital to be checked out. Thankfully they are both okay, mostly scrapes, bumps and bruises, although the friend did require stitches in his arm.

Our temps Tuesday and Wednesday reached 122. And today, the blue skies are gone. We went from blue to gray and now orange. Our internet has been giving me fits all week. Even when I would finally find the time to sit and post, I couldn't upload anything.

Although these photos are not what I intended to post with, they are the only ones that uploaded yesterday after many attempts, so I'm going with it. Wishing you all the best, Peace & blessings, Tammy

Are you saying 122 in US temps... E-Gads and I thought we were hot here. Stay cool and glad to hear you little boy is doing better. It is scare and sometime you don't want to let them walk outside.

What a frightening experience - I'm glad they will be OK.
I cannot imagine 122 degrees, Tammy! We are finally seeing warmer temps here, but they are in the 70s. Anything over 90, and I'm a blob on the sidewalk.
Take care & stay cool!
Hugs,
Zuzu

happy that you son is okay after the bus incident!

122 degrees.... I can't imagine! We had a three day heatwave in the 90's but it is a perfect 79 and breezy today.

I love the sweet little blue afghan you made. The baby looks so comfy under it.

So nice stopping by!

So sorry about your son and his friend's accident, but glad to hear it wasn't anything more serious. We've had some pretty days with blue skies and bright sun, but today is clouding up quickly. Have a great day! (I love the photo of you cat looking out the door to your balcony). :-)

Glad your son and his friend will be fine. That sounds a bit scary. Is the bus the usual mode of trasportation for them?

I've had trouble uploading pictures too the last few days on blogger. Finally got it to work.

I am glad to know that your son and his friend are okay. What a scary ordeal that must have been.
I can't even imagine 122 degrees. We are at 97 and I feel as though I'm melting.
Hope your internet behaves itself soon. Those problems are so annoying to we bloggers.

Hope your internet clears up soon. It is so frustrating when we can't get our blog fix!

Tammy,
Just came by to say hi.
Always love seeing you have come by to visit at my place.

Great idea about the music framed and using the papers separate. I think it will look great too.

It took me looking for minute at the first picture before I realized this was not taken in Kuwait. HA!
I am glad to hear that Yusef is ok. What a crazy story with the bus. The sad thing is that of course, nothing could ever be done to change the way people drive, and the careless attitude they take towards the roads. Thank goodness someone was there to make sure they got to the clinic.
I look forward to hearing your stories of being in Kuwait all summer with the temperatures being as high as they are. We got your dust today here. It is just ugly outside. I have used it as an excuse to stay inside!!
Hope you are enjoying your weekend. How much longer with classes?? Certainly not much more!

Love ya,
Renee

I'm so glad your son is okay. I don't know how the drivers are there, but I know my son said that when he was in Jordan, that was one thing that surprised him...drivers don't stop for anything.
122 Wow!!! I've always said that I can't imagine how people lived here in the desert before a/c, but I guess that's even more true in your desert, isn't it? It's still unseasonably cool here. Our heat will hit soon though, I know :-)
Blessings,
Marcia
