Spreading the love

Hubby brought roses home yesterday.

Rather than keeping them in one bouquet, I like to spread them around.

And when one of hubby's shirts has stains that won't come out ...

I make lavender filled heart sachets.

I hope you have a love-filled day. Friendship blessings, Tammy

How nice that hubby brings home flowers and how nice that you found a useful and pretty way to recycle his shirt. Is he to be a recipitant for one of those hearts?

OMG why haven't I thought of that? Charlie does tend to be a bit of a messy eater and I have recently thrown out 3 of his work shirts.
Of course we know what will happen now...he won't stain another one for months. Thanks so much for the great idea and the wonderful blog.

You smarty! What a great way to use that shirt. Looks just like ticking!

And spreading those roses around is pretty brilliant, too! AND we got to see some of your beautiful home displays.

Happy Mother's Day again, sweet friend.

The roses look lovely dotted around your home and that's such a good idea about the shirt. I've recently seen a blog where old shirts were cut up and made into bunting, I thought that was a good idea too.

I really love both of your ideas, Tammy...to spread the bouquet through the house...and to make sweet sachets from stained shirts--wonderful!

My husband brings me bouquets often, and I just put them in a vase...think I'll start following your example!

Thanks for your inspiration, my sweet friend...wishing you a beautiful day!

Love those hearts. What a great idea to make them from the shirt. Roses are beautiful. I also received roses from my son's family for Mother's Day and a bouquet of beautiful spring flowers from hubby.

Have a great week. We are hoping to spend a few days in the mountains.

How sweet to spread the roses around! I use to work in a floral shop and would bring home flowers ever now and then. Unfortunately, hubby never buys them for me any more. I developed allergies to lilies and hyacinths, so his excuse is that he can't remember which flowers that I can't be around so doesn't buy any:(

Happy Mother's Day Tammy! I have had such fun catching up on your posts. The one about Jell-o pudding had me giggle. What a mystery! Where did all the jell-o go? I love when there are photographs of your fat, happy cat. I love when there are photographs of your home which so looks like my childhood home. Lots of wonderful memories are always found here for me. Elizabeth

I am very much like you, Tammy! You can't have too many flowers and I can't bear to throw out things like old shirts when they can be so useful :)

You have the most wonderful way of making me smile. I love the fact that you break up your bouquet and spread the beauty around your house. All the lovely blooms make everything look so very nice.
Your sachets are not only inventive, and resourceful, they are fantastic. I would love to think one of them will find it's way to me. How is that for being blunt?? I love that you did!!!!!!!!!! What a great idea!!!

Hope you have a great weekend!!

XOXOXO
