Week in Review

Saturday -- overripened bananas were turned into yummy banana muffins.

Sunday -- we met friends for dinner at a restaurant next to The Towers.

Monday -- I made tomato soup for lunch along with farmhouse bread topped with spinach, onions & parmesan cheese and pesto.

Tuesday -- Jingles was sitting so pretty.

Wednesday -- nothing but gray skies. It's been a crazy mix of rain, wind, hail, electrical storms. The rain comes and goes in quick little bursts all day and night.

Thursday -- the weekend is here. I spent the evening crocheting more doilies and started a couple other projects.

Hope all of you have had a good week too!

Friendship blessings, Tammy

Hi Tammy,
Wow, you've been busy! Jingles looks so very cute above. I could eat one of those banana muffins right now, yum! I'm not familiar with the towers, sounds like an interesting story must be behind them.

Happy weekend to you!
Sharon :-)

Yes I agree! Love to see Jingles in your blogs. He just adds a little extra specialness to it. Your week looked like a good busy for you. Love your food choices. Wish I would eat like that. Can't say my week has been the same. Loved all the rain we got. Feels refreshing. Hoping to get in a little R&R this weekend with family. Hope your weekend is the same....miss ya!

Sounds like a good week! I haven't gotten too much crochet in this week, but hope to this afternoon after ds's schoolwork is complete. Love the quote from Elizabeth Barrett Browning...so true! Enjoy your weekend.

busy week!
that soup...looks oh so yummy!!
it rained last night. In summer! We don't get rain in summer around here, so it was strange. But it also tremmbled; a 4.7 magnitude earthquake early on Thursday morning. And today an earthquake in Japan, and a tsunami warning for the entire Pacific coast in the American continent (including Guatemala!)? It's all very chaotic. Hopefully the weekend will be a calmer one.
have a good day!

Hi Tammy,
Nice review. :)

Our week was scary and pretty bad and next week is going to start in the same manner, with Sarah's surgery/biopsy but we're hoping it ends in a glorious manner.

Have a nice weekend,
Linda

Hi Tammy,

I somehow missed where you lived when I visit your blog last. Now I can see why you couldn't imagine living in a place with all the snow. *grin* Yes, your neck of the woods is very different indeed! It is so neat to see a glimpse of other parts of the world. Thank you for sharing.

Blessings!

Lovely week ... I especially like the tomato soup and bread, mmmm. Actually, I could be persuaded to take the muffins! Quotes are right up my alley, I almost used the one from Einstein myself this week. Great minds think alike! Have a wonderful day.

I enjoyed scrolling back through a few posts to see what has been happening in your world, so far from here. We are visiting our son and his family in South Carolina, quite a ways from the Northwest, this is a beautiful place but quite different from home also. I always enjoy visiting your blog. Your crochet work is lovely. I have not done much crochet lately.
