Sunday Spotlight

My Aunt Elaine is my mom's sister. Every year when the boys and I head to the States, Aunt Elaine puts up with us and puts us up for a good part of the summer.

On Thursday I received a box of goodies from her filled with Christmas cross-stitch kits and a notebook ...

bits of material ...

fun crafting accessories ...

a handmade glass Santa broach ...

a Santa pencil and crazy bands for the kids.

Everything was wrapped in Christmas napkins and tissue paper and you can bet I will use every little scrap of it to make something. Thanks Aunt Elaine! You can visit her blog At Home With Elaine and tell her I said hi.

Sending warm hugs and smiles your way for a wonderful Sunday! Friendship blessings, Tammy

Hi Tammy Sweetie...
What a beautiful share. Yes what a precious gift your Aunt Elaine is. She is just beautiful.

What a box of treasure she sent. Look at the needlepoint kits. How fun will those be. It ought to keep you busy what a week maybe?

I love the scraps of love. Such pretty prints and can't wait to see what you create with them. Just beautiful.

And that Santa brooch is so unusual. I love him most of all.

Treats for the kids. Those bands are so popular with the kids. Here at our kids schools they were banned. The kids found out that they could shoot them like rubber bands and some were aiming for the face. So sadly now they can't wear them to school anymore. Always some in the bunch that ruin it for everyone.

Have a great day sweetie. Many hugs and so much love, Sherry

It must have been fun for the entire family to open the package. My granddaughters love those little bands. Our minister at church even mentioned them yesterday. Seems his 8 year old got a package for his birthday recently. Lost of fun things for you too.

Have a great week.

That is the coolest care package ever. It must make you so happy to know that people are thinking of you and going out of their way to make sure you know it. I know you will enjoy everything inside the package, and hopefully you will find some free time to sit down and do the cross stitching patterns she sent you!!

Love ya
