Spotlight Sunday

THANKS ...

... to the lovely Zuzu at a Cottage in the Woods and this post, I am reading Tuesdays with Morrie. I've heard of the book and seen many interviews with the author, but until now hadn't read it. An easy, inspirational read that kept me occupied during the wait in the airport and on the flight back home.

... to my friend, Renee, I am enjoying this delicious green tea by Twinings.

... to Glor at Crochet Galore for her Victorian motif post, I made the little crocheted piece that, although it didn't turn out quite right, will be used to embellish something.

... and to this little guy for finally saying CHEESE! This is Melissa's 4-1/2 year old son, Nasser, with Zack. Every time we tried to take photos he would hide his face with his hands.

Finally, our last day together, he decided to cooperate. Zack just loves the little guy.

Wishing you a wonderful day filled with sunshine and smiles. Friendship blessings, Tammy

Dearest Tammy,

Did visit Zuzu's blog and it is refreshing to find people that are not infected by the greediness virus! Especially during this Christmas season... way too commercial. That makes me long for the years we lived and worked in Indonesia, there it is not as commercialized as it is here! But we can't escape it, at least not fully. Living our own lives though as we have seen too much in this world for wanting to be pulled into that mass-followers game...
Have a great Sunday!

What a great post today! I laughed to see the picture of Nasser at the bottom. HA! I am glad to know he made you so happy with his pose for the camera! I am going to go get a cup of tea as soon as I am done writing to you! YUMMY!!
Hope it was not too hard to get up this morning. I was NOT loving my alarm clock today!

Time to go cross stitch a bit before Oprah comes on.

XOXOXO
Renee

way to go on getting a group photo. something about boys and photos! half of my pics are of one brother making a face or just plain refusing to be in a picture. LOL

Kids have their little idiosyncracies everywhere, don't they!! Hope you're enjoying Tuesdays With Morrie. I just hung on every word. A couple of my daughters read it and weren't impressed. I think it has to do with where you are in your life. Blessings, Diane

So is this read you got to keep you company from Jarir? I am not a big reader of books but do enjoy my magazines and was happy to find Reader's Digest to keep me busy.
So glad my little boy got you all excited. Knew he would keep Zack and Yousef busy for a bit. It's so cute watching Zack playing "Big Brother" to him. Hope to get to my cup of tea soon

It's funny how kids react to the camera. My son when he was younger would smile like a Cheshire cat when ever he would see a camera. Now I can't get him to smile.

I had to laugh at the little guy. They either love the camera or not, I guess he's a not. Think the motif looks good, just pull it into shape and you should be set. Glad that you arrived home safe and sound, hope that you are rested for the return to work. Your pictures, as always, are beautiful. Always feel like I've been touring the world. Thank you! Have a wonderful day. Thank you the mention!
