The View

From Shereen's balcony yesterday, I took a picture of the sun as it was starting to set.

If you didn't know better, you would think it was the moon but for the past couple of days, we've had the kind of dust that is high enough and thick enough to keep the sun from shining. Makes the days rather gloomy.

Hope your day is bright and beautiful. Friendship blessings, Tammy

Oh, wow--it really does look like the moon, Tammy! I thought it got gloomy here by the coast--I think you win, my friend!

I hope it gets sunnier very soon!

Hi Tammy...Love your Robert Louis Stevenson quote. Very nice.

The dark and gloomy days there make me think of the dark and gloomy days here, when we are in the heart of winter. That's a couple months away, thank goodness.

Take care, Tammy, and have a peaceful evening. Susan

Wow, that's a lot of dust to block the sun like that.....wish I could blow the rain your way.....it is raining here, real proper gentle rain, finally. I will blow real hard the next time I go out....to the East...all the way to Tammy!!!!

It DOES look like the moon! Isn't it amazing the wonders of the world are all so different, yet we all still have the same sun, the same moon, the same sky! ;)

Tammy, that is a beautiful picture and haunting realizing that is a dusty sky. We have windy days that look like that occasionally in Oklahoma. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am interested to learn more about you!

I love this photo Tammy! It's so interesting, with the older and newer buildings together along with this sun view. I've seen it look similar here in our desert when the winds are really bad.
Blessings,
Marcia

Got to love a dusty sky. Our sky here gets like that at some point every day. Never the same time from day to day, but at some point each day, the sky has so much dust it is not funny. All the construction going on does not help at all!
Hope you are able to find crafty things to do inside that will save you from having to be out in the dust!!

XOXO
Renee

Hi Tammy,
I love the way that blogging makes the world smaller. I visit so many countries in an hour and meet so many incredible friends.
Hope the dust settles soon.
Smiles, Angela.

I wish the dust would go. My allergies have been kicking up and it sure doesn't help, but that's when they usually kick in September. It hasn't been as bad but its still annoying. At least the weather has cooled off a wee bit.
