Friday is usually family day but the boys were off with friends so Hubby and I decided to head out on our own.
At 1 pm the temperature was 44 degrees celcius. That's 111 F! No wonder I can't even think about Fall decorating at the moment.
We went to a local mall and had lunch at Wasabi.
Japanese food is one of our favorites.
A trip to the plant souk was also involved.
Tomorrow I will be repotting all these plants before it gets too hot outside.
Hope everyone out there is having a fabulous Friday. Friendship blessings, Tammy

Hi Tammy,
Great new header and music.
Sounds like you had a really nice day. It's about 16 degrees here in my part of England today, dropping to 5 degrees tonight.
Enjoy your planting, so lovely to read your comments.
Smiles, Angela.
What? You two didn't jet off to some exotic neighboring country...lol Glad you had a mid day date...those are nice.

Thanks for stopping by SIBOL Tammy!
I am so pleased you enjoy looking at the Squares.
yes I'm amazed this project has become so popular.
Around 18 or 19 countries are now involved.
90 ladies roughly.
Thank You!

Tammy, Just so you know....it feels like 104F outside right now....the wind is hot, really hot, and there is no chance for rain anywhere in sight!! This is Virginia, on September 24th, 2010!!! At least you got to spend some "outside" time with hubby....if I want to do that, I have to go and vacuum and blow leaves and have a heart attack....I refuse!!! :)
I don't have a job and two kids to keep me busy anymore!!! So don't beat yourself up if the dining room table has "stuff" on it....it will get moved,.... eventually!!!
Stay cool, my friend and enjoy the weekend....
I like your new blog look......and music. Just lovely.
Your day with your husband sounded sweet and your lunch choice was yummy looking.
Have a lovely week, my friend.
Jan
Tammy,
I always enjoy seeing photos of your world. :)
The hot weather has left us here and it looks like it's gone for at least the foreseeable future, thank God. It's sunny, breezy and a lovely 73 degrees out, and the windows are opened. True Autumn weather. We're closing up the pool this weekend and I'm not sure what else as husband and I also have some free time being that daughter will be at her Dad's all weekend. Hooray. :)
Hope you have a wonderful weekend,
Linda
thank you for your lovely comments today!
Your life sounds so interesting! It's so good to know others feel the same way I do in this blogging world!

Hello my Sweet chicky!!
I love all your pictures from your trip. You look fab in your blue sarong. I see your hair is getting longer. Mine too, ha! I am trying to grow it out. I would never leave the air conditioning with temps as high as yours. How are the boys? give Zack a bug hug for me.. ha ha. It is cold here, windy, brrr.....
Did I tell you Ernie sold his bike and bought a new harley? He is one happy boy. We will be going to Wisconsin next week for a little trip. I know I said I would not do it, but I signed up on facebook... much easier way to keep in touch with many people at once. I found Renee there. Well , give Melissa a hug for me, her daugter is gorgeous. love you!

When I read your blog, Tammy, I realize what a plain vanilla life I lead here in central Virginia (and yes, I agree with Marilyn above, it is hot - very hot and dry for late September.) The things that you are seeing and the experiences you are having are very special. I loved the pic of the gorgeous blue sari. And the lovely scarves you bought. Just beautiful. Thanks for visiting me today.
111? I can't even imagine!
Nice that you were able to get out with your sweetie today!
Hope cooler temps are coming your way soon, Tammy!
Hugs,
Zuzu
It's a wonderful thing to have a date with your hubby! We love taking time to do that--think it's time again!
Sorry it's so hot for you---warmed up here, too--but only in the 80's!
Hope your weekend is wonderful, my friend!
Julie
Hi Tammy,
That must be so incredibly hot and no wonder you do not feel like decorating for fall.
Glad that you and your hubby were able to go out for Japanese. We really enjoy Japanese food here.
Enjoy your weekend and repotting your plants.
Hugs
Carolyn
We are also having record here in Arizona. It is so hard to think of fall when it's so hot outside. Hopefully it will cool down soon.
Love your plants. I'm waiting until the weather cools down to get some new plants.
Tammy,
thank you very much for your always sweet notes! They are appreciated and cherished. OMG!44°C?? It's 11°C over here! I need to have my plants repotted too, but I am sadly lacking of spare time at the moment!;)
Monicax.
How nice that you and Sam got to spend a nice afternoon together. I am guessing the boys will have more to do with friends as they get older... It is hot in Kuwait. Here too. I have not seen an outdoor thermometer on a building recently, but I am thinking we could give you a run for your money.
Lunch looks wonderful. I know you enjoyed it!! Good luck with the plants!!
Love ya,
Renee
