Sharing is Caring

I would like to share with you a wonderful first time giveaway. Sweet Angela from Mouse House Tales has started a stitched textiles and mixed media blog called The English Romantic (designed by Karen Valentine) and is having her first ever giveaway. Angela is so very talented with fabric, needle and thread. Please click the button at the top of my sidebar to head her way and enter. I know she would be so happy to hear from you.

What a wonderful surprise I received this morning in my inbox. In the past few weeks, I have had the pleasure of getting to know Cindy Adkins who lives just outside of New Orleans. She has two blogs (Cindy Adkins' Whimsical Musings) and (I Owe It All to Him). Cindy is a very talented mixed media artist who is always creating. Thanks Cindy!

Please visit, be inspired and leave some happy thoughts for Cindy at one or both of her blogs.

A few weeks ago I was sad to find out that my cousin, Gwen, who introduced me to blogging decided to close down her own blog. She loves couscous and today that's what I had for lunch. Sundried tomato couscous with chickpeas, onion, cucumber, feta cheese and a drizzle of olive oil and lemon juice. Yummo!

I decided to put cleaning at the bottom of my to-do list in order to do a little crocheting ...

and stitching.

Weekends are meant to be enjoyed, right!

Sending sweet friendship wishes your way! Tammy

Weekends are definitely for doing things you love, as well as those you "have to." Ohhhh, how come your family member decided to call it quits with her blog, Tammy? It's such a wonderful way to make friends from all over the world! I love it so much. Take care and have FUN! Susan p.s. Thank you for saying you look forward to my autumn posts. That meant a lot to me.

Tammy, your couscous looks really yummy. I love it, and prefer it to rice in many of my dishes, and I'm a big fan of chickpeas too.
I'm off now to check out those blogs you mentioned.

I was so excited when I saw the word cleaning on your blog. I laughed and thought that great minds really do think alike. I went on to read that it was at the BOTTOM of your list and laughed. It is on the TOP of my list today. BOO!! I am HAPPY to hear that you got some crocheting done.
Your couscous looks really good!!!

Thinking of you!!!
Love,
Renee
