Day 10 of the 100 days of creativity challenge.
1/10th of the way through.
Anyone think I can stay the course?

Anyone think I can stay the course?
I took the yarn scraps from yesterday's projects and tied them all together, rolled them up into a ball, and then held that double with thin black cotton to make a very simple coaster.
We've had dusty weather for 4 days now, but I finally decided I needed to venture out anyways. A quick walk to the park to check on some of my favorite kitties and, as always, finding a plastic bag on the loose and filling it up with trash.
Hope you're having a good weekend.
Sunday blessings.

I love your coaster. Yes, I believe you can stay the course. I believe you can do anything you put your mind to do. You are very creative, you totally got this! Loved seeing the kitties. They are so sweet. Bless you for feeding them. Wishing you a lovely day. Blessings always
That's a really cute coaster Tammy. I use a lot of my scraps making stripes in the mittens. I don't like to waste any of it.
Good for you in being such a good samaritan and cleaning up all of the trash. I just can't understand how people can litter so. But just a few blocks from our house here is a "not so nice" area and there is lots of trash there too. I don't dare walk there to pick it up though because there is usually one or two shootings or cuttings there every week. I don't know what happened since we moved to Spokane, but this neighborhood used to be lovely. And our little hidden spot still is, but we have to venture out whenever we leave our immediate 3 block area.
It's so sad. The entire world sometimes seems to be going backward at a fast pace, bent on deconstruction. Sorry that sounds negative but I think I've watched too much news at Mom's this weekend. That's all she watches and it always gets me down.
I hope your Monday is a glorious one, full of hope, cheer and faith in mankind. :-)
Blessings,
Betsy
Thank you for visist and comments, Have a good week and Happy Easter, greetings from Anna
Dearest Tammy,
That is a happy and colorful signature coaster à la Tammy!
Lovely photos.
Happy kitties that receive some kibble from your caring hands.
Can't understand people that don't shelter their fur babies.
Even in our street there are people that don't really care for their kitties.
When ours are all cozy and warm inside, they still come on our patio and CRY for attention or for love from our kitties... So sad!
Hugs,
Mariette
What a great idea to use your yarn ends like that!

I bet you can do the 100 days of creativity challenge! You're probably creative in some way every day without even realizing it.
You have inspired me to pick up trash when I'm walking now, too. But since I don't want to touch it with my bare hands and I also don't want to bend over so many times, I bought one of those "grabber" tools on Amazon. I'm going to take a bag and the grabber with me next time I walk and start picking up trash I see on the sides of the road.
Arh poor cats, thank you for caring. Your coaster is a fantastic idea to use up the scraps. Many years ago we used to have park keepers in the UK. The slogan was 'keep Britain tidy' The garden area was kept pristine. I know we all have a responsibility to keep our country tidy, but clearly it's not working. Bless your heart for trying.
Tammy - I suspect that you will keep doing the challenge as long as you are getting something out of it!
