Today's weather was absolutely gorgeous to welcome the first day of the new month. In Celtic tradition, this day is celebrated as the halfway point between winter solstice and the spring equinox.
And since it is Monday, I was once again on the lookout for all things yellow.
I took a different route through my neighborhood and was delighted to see so many flowers in bloom.
It seems many states are in store for a whole lot of snow so if you are in line of the Nor'easter then take care, stay safe and warm.
I wish you much peace, joy and love.
Happy February!

What a beautiful day! We have inches and inches of snow with more to come.
Dearest Tammy,
WOW, your yellow flowers in today's walk looks stunning and spread happiness instantly.
We had very windy weather but it kind of calmed down in the afternoon and I took a walk around a lake with a friend and her big dogs. Enjoyed being outdoors so much and my fatigued feeling is gone.
Hugs,
Mariette
Yellow is such a happy color. Love your little hearts...Happy February, and the momth of Love.
Lots of beautiful yellow in your photo Tammy and the blue skies are so vibrant. I think the hearts you made are so pretty in those colors. I love how you sprinkle them around on your walks.
Blessings,
Betsy
Thanks for the yellow pop of color to brighten my world. Your hearts certainly are perfect for people to find in the month of love! Sending you good wishes from Oregon. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
I bet your weather is beautiful there in February. We have about 15" of snow sitting on the ground and an Arctic blast coming this weekend, with temps as low as -30F with the wind chill! Tim is flying home Thursday from California. Won't he be in for a treat? ;-)
Lovely hearts, thank you for comments, greetings from warsaw. You have fantastic climate. We have snow.have a good day
What a beautiful, blue sky day. The yellow flowers look very cheerful. Today the sunshine is streaming in the window and making everything, including me, brighter.
It is a true miracle how a little bit of sunshine can remedy the soul! Happy February Tammy!
Beautiful photos - so cheery! We did not receive the snowstorm here in central Illinois - the storms usually go up and around us towards Chicago. Since we're 2 hours south of the suburbs, we end up with little to nothing. I actually wanted a good snowstorm and February is normally our month for getting it, if we do. We received about 2 inches and it's been slowing melting away which makes me happy - here today/gone tomorrow, lol - because I was able to venture out for an afternoon walk on the path which was a little challenging going around ice and remaining snow, but I did it and it's a good thing because we're supposed to head into a polar vortex in the coming days with highs barely above zero. These are the days that I use my treadmill in the unheated garage, with a blast of heat from one of Jim's propane heaters in there. Anyways, there's a little news from here. Hope the remainder of your week is just as lovely.

Tammy - the storm from last week passed us by, but a new one is on the way and we should get 6 - 8 inches by Sunday. So excited about this - we need fresh snow for the ski resort. But in the meantime, I enjoyed all your flower photos! Stay well!
Such a lovely color! My second favorite. A lovely snow storm today for me. But not too much. Just enough to make me clap...lol Take care. Kit
We have had cool temps, but I love them. A wonderful break from the intense heat. You day looks lovely. Stay safe.
Hi Tammy, Yellow flowers are wonderful, our season here is winter, endless weather, I will not be surprised if the finished flowers bloom like spring, hearts are terrific signs of love and hope..
The weather is beautiful here as well and the wild flowers in full bloom. I think that we are deep into spring already. Love the heart garland, a sweet message of hope.
