Today I met my friends, Aruna and Emina, first to see an exhibition of quill work at Art Cafe.
I can't imagine the time and patience it takes to create these works of art.
Afterwards, we walked over to Naser's Cafe for brunch and to create some art of our own.

Dearest Tammy,
Indeed, lots of patience and concentration goes into creating such lovely pieces.
But it is a very positive craft as you fully need to focus on it and your mind stays positive.
Love the ending quote; so very true!

Looks lovely.
Lovely post, quilling is an amazing art form-not for me though (smiles)
Beautiful quilling. I have some of this but its a lot trickier than it looks.
Your happy quote is spot on but not always east to carry out although I do try.

Oh my goodness that quill work is absolutely stunning. I can’t even imagine the patience that goes into each piece. Your lunch looks delicious and your artwork is beautiful too. The quote at the end is perfect. Thanks for sharing with us today.
Blessings, Betsy
I love that you have art dates with your friends. Your journal pages are lovely :)
One question: What is that black pizza, is it olive?
Wishing you a happy day!
Connie :)
P.S. I'm now officially your newest follower . . . Doing my happy dance :)
It is always so interesting following on your art dates and I wish I could join you on one such, since I have no art dates here. They are mainly workshops I attend. SO understandably I immensely enjoy your dates and the pictures you took of this one are amazing! Thank you!
It's all so inspiring. That's a beautiful cafe as well. What a lovely afternoon.
